Chewelah Motel and RV Park

I stayed in the studio room and it was spotless. The way they have updated this place, it looks 1000x better. I stayed here years ago and I cannot believe the difference! The family running the place is very welcoming and I loved that the door had a code and not a key card. The place is wonderful!!

I had to travel to the area for business and decided to stay an extra couple days. This is a very nice and clean local hotel. The rates were amazing and the hospitality was even better. I will definitely be back to enjoy this area and looking to bring some friends with me to enjoy the mountains around and all the things to do and we will definitely stay here.

Pics posted are of past. Getting quite dated now sorry to report. The bathroom was not very clean at all so some new cleaning staff is a big must. Grit and grime and filth build up in shower and outside of shower and took pics as proof. I never go in there without flops and not right. Fridge barely gets cold and I did not feel right to complain and or feel uncomfortable about it complaining after my experience I have had with the not so clean bathroom. Tv has been a frustration too as cannot just watch tv as in sports live and mostly just streaming and Family Feud it seems like to fill the down time here. Tv remote will not even work but again, I did not feel comfortable addressing this after the whole bathroom scenario as leaving tomorrow anyways. Owners are nice though and good at promoting other businesses in this area! I just cannot see myself returning ever though and to just make it all the way to Spokane next time, just 1 hr away. Clean and comfortable mom and pop motel. Owners live on property and it shows. Yes it's a 70's vintage motel but the owners are doing well with what that have to work with. We came to ski 49 Degrees ski area on our way back from a Canadian vacation but we're hit but a big blinding snowstorm, so unfortunately had to get out quickly. Really liked the fact that they have wooden floors, much cleaner than carpet. Our room had two queen beds and was not cramped. Room has everything that we needed, mini fridge, microwave, TV, coffee maker, etc. Homemade muffins in the morning were tasty and coffee was hot. Would recommend and return if I had the opportunity to ski there again.
