Akalki Hotel & Centro Holístico

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place this is it! I am not into yoga but if you are then this is the place for you. The staff are courteous and very helpful and the food is excellent and reasonably priced. We stayed for 3 nights and never left the area. The Lagoon is absolutely gorgeous. I recommend taking the boat tour as Jami was very iformative and friendly.

Beautiful hotel has a lot to offer I have been waiting to stay here since I saw this resort the first time on the lagoon in 2021. I stayed at the over water cabana which offered beautiful lagoon view, unit 6 and 7 are newer units with glass patio doors. The cabanas are eco friendly therefore no AC but they provided 3 fans, the room is not completely sealed so some openings are covered with mesh to prevent bugs. Their temple is beautiful and they offer daily yoga or meditation. We also paid extra for the lagoon boat ride and met the captain yan who was so nice and knowledgeable. This is a place to connect to the nature so fish, birds, bugs and frogs might come out sometimes.

WONDERFUL place! The rooms are beautiful for a getaway experience, the staff is beyond accommodating and friendly, the food is SO good!

Whether strolling through the lush gardens or relaxing by the water, the peaceful environment was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the highlights of my stay was the crystal-clear freshwater that surrounds the property. The water is absolutely incredible – so clear and refreshing that it felt almost surreal. I spent many hours swimming and simply soaking in the natural beauty of the area. Overall, my stay at Akalki Hotel & Centro Holístico was nothing short of magical. The combination of excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and the serene atmosphere made it a truly unforgettable vacation. I can't recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning in the future.
