Hotel good location, service, the only detail the Internet is unstable.

We visited on May 2022. We got there early, room wasn't ready. Went to the restaurant to get some food. Both food and service were very good. As soon as we finished we were informed the room was ready so we headed there to unpack and unwind. The room was big and cozy. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. The hotel has no swimming pool as it has waterfront to one of the most beautiful Lagoons in the planet. It's just breathtaking. Couldn't stop looking at it. All these different shades of blue, turquoise and green. We called our server to order drinks, he offered us a bottle of Mezcal for our entire stay, mixers included. We would mark the bottle by the end of each day and they would store it. By far the best deal. Hotel was on the pricey range but also was worth every penny. The service was excellent and the premises were beautiful. The crowd was very hipster and eclectic. Very few Mexicans (mostly couples) and then groups of American tourists, from hippies living in Tulum to movie/tv actors from LA and groups of friends from NY. It is worth noting there was no kids in the Hotel, not sure if they're allowed but there weren't any. Kayaks and paddle boards were included and free for Hotel guests. That was a nice gesture. Some other resorts just usually try to charge for anything everything. Our stay was nearly perfect. Only part we didn't appreciate much was the restrictions on regular sunscreen ”to protect the environment” so they would only allow Organic/natural brands, which resulted in a painful sunburn. I would definitely go back.

English Review: Rancho Encantado is a magical place with stunning surroundings and a peaceful ambiance that feels like a true escape into nature. The views of the lagoon are breathtaking, and the staff is exceptionally warm and attentive, making sure our experience was memorable. The accommodations are comfortable, beautifully designed, and blend harmoniously with the natural environment, providing a real sense of tranquility. However, we did experience one drawback during our stay. Due to the weather, we were without power for several hours on two different days, as the property doesn’t have backup generators. It was an unexpected inconvenience, especially as the weather was unpredictable. Despite this, Rancho Encantado is a special retreat, and with a few upgrades, it would be close to perfect. Sin embargo, experimentamos un inconveniente durante nuestra estancia. Debido al clima, estuvimos sin electricidad durante varias horas en dos días diferentes, ya que el hotel no cuenta con generadores de respaldo. Fue una situación inesperada, especialmente porque el clima era impredecible. A pesar de esto, Rancho Encantado es un refugio especial, y con algunas mejoras, estaría muy cerca de la perfección.

The first impression upon arriving to this hotel is its architecture, curved lines in harmony with functionality. No doubt the Italian architect did a good job designing this hotel, the central location of the big swimming pool, the modern international art pieces and the roof details are paramount. Staff, as Jesus, was very friendly and always responded to our inquiries. Our stay of 10 days was very comfortable. The location is about 100 yards to the beach that had floating barriers for seaweed that affects beaches of Costa Maya. Nearby you will find many great restaurants, taxi stop right on hotel entrance, bus station about 200 yards away. The only downside possibly are the stairs if you are on the last floor (staff will handle your luggage), slightly slow WiFi (a problem in all Mahahual). We were lucky on our last day for they had announced electrical blackout in the city but we were not affected.
