Peak Edge Hotel

Absolutely a wonderful Hotel to stay at… staff very pleasant (receptionist was very welcoming and helpful) the room (superior double) was spacious and the bed was big and extremely comfy. Lovely and quiet at night. We booked direct with the Hotel ( see websites also) as they had better deals than booking with other online booking portals. Everything in the room from mini bar stocked with payable drinks, (bottle water free) kettle, coffee pod machine, coffee, tea & hot chocolate with a few packets of biscuits and fresh milk iron & hairdryer. Bathroom had a large bath and separate shower area with soft towels and toiletries. Evening meal was in the adjacent restaurant The Red Lion. Which we booked with the receptionist when booking the Hotel. Amazing menu and restaurant was stunning. Fantastic chefs for flavour of food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Breakfast was in the same restaurant, so much to choose from fresh fruit, pastries, toast & Jams and a lovely selection of cooked breakfast to full English, different variations of eggs, pancakes, avocado on sour bread… so much to choose from it was all of good portion and extremely tasty. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The whole Hotel was very clean and inviting- the bar area was so relaxing with wood fires, this made the area very relaxing . Overall totally recommend this Hotel for location, food and comfort, we will be returning to enjoy again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you everyone who works there - amazing

We stayed for two nights with a group of friends. The hotel is beautiful and so tastefully decorated. The Christmas decorations were outstanding. Every member of staff that we encountered was absolutely wonderful - a smile , polite and very friendly. Our rooms were very spacious and inviting. We ate in the restaurant one evening. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and plenty of it! We would love to return for another short break in the summer. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

What a beautiful place to stay, the hotel was lovely and clean the staff were very friendly nothing was too much trouble. When we walked in to reception on the first day there was a lovely Christmas smell and a beautiful tree, we were greeted with a warm welcome, then our room was lovely and clean, breakfast was very nice. It was very quiet we hardly saw any other guest other than at breakfast.

This was a daughter & mum break and we were both very impressed with this stylishly designed, comfortable hotel and impressive restaurant. The hotel has lovely views and it is in a super location (even the torrential rain didn’t spoil anything). Our twin bedroom was spotlessly clean, decorated tastefully and a good size. We dined both evenings in its Red Lion restaurant (in addition to breakfasting here too). We settled in to comfy armchairs in front of one of the many lit fires, where pre dinner drinks were served to us. We chose Champagne (it was perfectly chilled) from the extensive wine list. Our only suggestion would be that guests are offered a small dish of complimentary nuts or similar to accompany the drinks. The restaurant menu offers appealing choices using local fresh and seasonal ingredients. Meals are not only beautifully presented but they are delicious too. A special mention must go to the superb staff. Both hotel and restaurant staff are attentive, polite, professional and friendly. Thank you to all the staff for making this an enjoyable stay. I would certainly recommend Peak Edge Hotel and its Red Lion restaurant without hesitation.
