Comfort Inn Chester - Richmond South

This hotel needs a major upgrade. It badly needs to be updated. The furniture is scratched, broken, and dingy. The bathroom is so tiny. The door barely clears the front of the toilet. The water in the bathroom sink barely had water pressure, so it was hard to wash your hands or brush your teeth. The door to get into the room is very old and also badly needs to be updated. We were afraid to use the elevator. Yes, that badly needs to be fixed or updated too. It made very loud noises when the door opened and closed. There’s just dirt on the walls. And the carpet needs replacing very badly. I would not stay here again. Luckily we literally just used the room to sleep, and that may have been too much time spent here. Book somewhere else, as there are many hotels in close proximity to each other in this area. I wished we booked one of those instead. I always check the bed for any indicators of bugs, as I have actually had a bad experience at a completely different hotel. Good news is, I didn’t see any evidence of bugs, so we hopefully dodged the bullet there. I’ve stayed at Comfort Inns before, and this is by far the worst one I have ever stayed at. I was expecting the same quality as other Comfort Inns, but this one doesn’t measure up at all. The pictures posted do not seem accurate at all to what the rooms actually look like. The front desk staff was very nice, but overall the rooms are just atrocious and badly need updating.

Days Inn by Wyndham Chester

I read the reviews once we got there, was nervous but it was cleaner then others had posted, there was some hair in the bathroom. It's outdated and needs remodeled but for low prices I expect that. The bed was actually great and I travel a good amount abd was happy to report that I had a great night sleep in the room. I suggest to put in the AC to drown out the noise from outside as people liked to stand out by the rooms and talk during the night.

From the time I checked in to the size and cleanliness of the room. My stay at this hotel was nothing short of feeling like I was at home. The staff was friendly checking in and checking out. I wish I could have stayed one more night
