We booked this last minute, and not sure what to expect , the family room was a good size , the beds really comfortable, all the facilities were cleaned and tidy , and a nice touch still with the chocolates and biscuits . The staff were all very friendly , and the breakfast very good , hot and fresh with lots of choice , full English or continental well catered for . I would definitely stay again .

Quirky decor, very clean and a tad unusual. The pump/motor for the shower in our room and the room next door was very loud. Impossible to sleep through if somone else in shower. Great location for all things Chester. Only other minor niggle was the strictness of the lady running the restaurant. Family was not able to sit together on 2nd morning even though there was loads of empty tables on our arrival, this annoyed me but food was good.

The room is spotless and very fresh , and the bed was. Dry comfy breakfast really good, and of good quality , not only are the staff quick to serve they are happy in their work, this is my third time visiting and will definitely be back again…….. .

On arrival i was greeted by a lady at reception( apologises i forgot your name) she was a very cheerfull pleasant lady who helped with advice of the local area and of course the hotel,far better than the usual cardboard cut out that normally greets you at larger chain hotels,from then on our stay was made complete on being shown our room of which was imaculate,decor,clean and everything you needed to make you even more welcome,breakfast was beautiful and staff very polite ,if i could give 11 out of 10 i would do,we will be back no doubt about that,thank you Chester house hotel

This was a very comfortable no-frills hotel. Room was quite small but clean with the usual tea/coffee making facilities with a free bottle of water and a packet of crisps which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good in a nice conservatory, with, again, the usual things you'd expect - buffet style. The hotel is conveniently located for local shops and I found a nice Chinese Restaurant just a few minutes walk away which was excellent. Overall I enjoyed my stay

This is our third stay at chester court, lovely room, friendly staff, lovely breakfast, hopfully we will stay again. idealy placed for a walk into chester and a short car ride to chester zoo, which was fantastic and we had good weather as well.

Room was a good size for a solo traveller the fridge was useful. A chocolate &toiletries left waiting on bed was a nice touch as was the little pack of biscuits.It is ideally situated for all attractions in Chester.To the city is a 10 to 15 min walk. Virtually outside the hotel is a bus stop that will take you to the zoo or Cheshire oaks or to the bus interchange.There was some building work going on that was the only down side.On the whole a pleasant enough hotel to stay in.

the room was cold during the night . also the shower sounded like it was going to take off so noisy ,also at breakfast the beans were cold and then we had just finished our breakfast and was just discussing our day we was asked if we had finished and was told she need to clean the table basically we had to get off from the table and leave which i think is poor customer service
