Well this has to be one of the worst places I've ever stayed. These appartments are not clean to standards. I went out and bought cleaning products. On a arrival the flats are freezing. Owners are tight and control your whole heating system. Hot water does not work. Hanging sockets, holes in the sealing letting what heat your allowed out. They don't respond to any messages. I left a day early due to several reasons. They don't care they just take the money. I will be writing all over every social media platform area about this place. It should be closed down they are not fit to run it

Whilst the property was mostly very clean, there were dirty plates in the cupboard and a dirty tray in the oven. We come to visit our son so we don’t eat out all of the time. We wanted to eat in but there was only one knife for chopping which I’m sure you’ll agree is very unhygienic if you want to chop meat and vegetables. The arm rest fell off the sofa bed, it needs fixing. There are 2 holes in 2 walls. The cushions, towels and bedding are stained although we could tell they had been washed. Still, it’s very unpleasant. There is sometimes a sewerage smell from the toilet. The main problem for us was the heating and hot water. There were no detailed instructions and it was still really hit and miss. The boiler kept showing an F4 fault. We were very cold at times, slept in jumpers and had to just wait to shower until the hot water decided to come on. However, we did like the location and the overall cleanliness but we won’t be staying here upon our return. We contacted them but Alex is clearly a robot and even since our return we’ve heard nothing.

So disappointed I didn’t look at all the reviews before I booked this dump.In contrast to the wonderful city that is Chester, Apartment 13 was anything but wonderful. Looking fine on the outside and in an excellent location, the guts of the building are of a standard which in previous times would be described as third world. We had no heating . There was no hot water. There was no cutlery. No tea and coffee. There was a missing panel in the ceiling of the bathroom where whatever heat we could make, disappeared. We found the panel on the floor of the boiler room. Service was non existent. Numbers and contacts never replied. We had a marvellous weekend in Chester, such a shame we had to share it with Royal Luxury Apartments.

There was no hot water so we were unable to shower. We tried to ring someone multiple times off the number we were given but got no reply. I tried to message the host to see if it could be fixed but again got ignored and got no reply. Instead we got a message from the host asking if we could give them a 5 star review. I replied to this asking if they could at least acknowledge my earlier message but again got no reply. I appreciate no hot water might have been something out of their control, that just needs to be fixed, but it’s the lack of contact or acknowledgment that is the main issuE.

We have just gotten back from spending two nights here and we have had a lovely stay. Communication from the host was excellent for and easy check in experience as well as a comforting welcome message to settle us in. The apartment is modern and has everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. Living area is lovely and the location is perfect! Can’t recommend enough and would definitely visit again!

Upon arrival, the check in procedures all worked well and we gained entry with no issues. The second floor corridor smelt stale and faintly of old cigarette smoke but we dismissed this and gained entry to apartment 14. The apartment was freezing cold, all windows were open and heating was off. It was 7pm and already cold outside. We closed the windows and tried to get the heating working using the thermostat. Radiators didn't come on. After about 15 minutes we realised the boiler was off, once we switched it on, the radiators finally started to warm up but by this time it became obvious why the windows were left open. The smell eminating from the bathroom was making us feel sick. A raw sewage smell was filling the apartment. I went to see what was causing the smell and found blood on the front edge of the sink basin and on the inside of bathroom door by the handle. The smell was definitely coming from the bathroom but no obvious cause. We tried to ring the number given but no answer, I then messaged on the portal but no response, we decided to go to the tesco over the road and buy some bleach and see if that would help. We came back and poured half the bottle of Domestos around the shower drain, the sink drain, into the sink overflow and down the toilet, we then had to leave the apartment again as the smell was so bad, still no response from the portal. After a few hours, we came back and the smell had gone replaced by the smell of bleach, not pleasant but better than sewage! We then started to unpack a few bits but I was horrified to find a ***** of nurofen tablets just under one of the bedside cabinets, a make up brush and a McDonald's sticker under the vanity desk ,dust on the lamps and damage to the top area of the vanity unit (literally a chunk of it missing) still no response from the portal at this time. Exhausted by this point, we decided to try to get some sleep and renew our attempts to contact management in the morning but this was not to be. The double glazing is definitely not effective in diminishing the sounds from outside, it actually sounded like there were still windows open causing me to get out of bed and double check. At this point I received a response from the portal with this form. I have since realised that the portal is just a bot and there is absolutely no way to get hold of anyone. Stay here at your peril, it is diabolical!!!

What a disappointing experience , the kitchen has lovely appliances but not the equipment to use it . Two awful frying pans and a saucepan. Nothing in the cupboard to be able to use the microwave . No cleaning equipment, one black bag , one dishwasher tablet for a 3 Night stay . The bedding looked clean but was stained , no mattress or pillow protectors , very unhygienic . Not even any liquid soap . The sofa is so uncomfortable we both have ended up watching tv in the bedroom , such a shame a the one star I have was for the location. It took 24 hours for them to provide a remote control . Wouldn’t recommend this accommodation , far too pricey .

If I could give no stars I would. The apartment service company are utterly appalling and should you have a problem they are uncontactable and simply don’t care. The owners of this facility need to get rid of the managing agents at best and should probably confer suing them. A management company in this area should be 24/7 not Monday to Friday 9-5 when and if they fancy addressing issues. Do not go here !!
