Clean and tidy. Meal deals are a good choice and free breakfast for children under 16 years old. Besides a good theme park. But a little bit far from train station.

Fairly good Premier Inn stay. But the restaurant attached to this hotel was terrible. Me and gf genuinely had the worst meals we've ever had lol. It was over priced and wasn't cooked properly, we ate it because we were knackered and needed something. If we didn't pay before we ate then I think we definitely would of refused to pay for it. 🙃

Cyril , the chap on reception was very helpful, positive attitude and it expelled me to want to leave a review , I often don’t, but this mans mannerisms were a credit to the hotel reception and experience, I had to mention this . Good stay . Will be back .

I’ve stayed at many Premier Inns over the years, and they are usually my go-to for business travel as they offer adequate levels of comfort, cleanliness, and good showers. However, Premier Inn Chessington was a nothing short of disgusting! When I entered my room (room 5), I was hit by an overwhelming smell of dampness, and the bathroom reeked of urine. Before requesting a room change, I checked online reviews and was shocked to see numerous complaints about similar issues in various rooms, including the pervasive smell of dampness and urine. No paying customer should have to endure such awful conditions. It was so bad that I considered checking out of the hotel, however I was unable to find any other accommodation in the locality at such short notice. It’s baffling how this hotel continues to operate in such a state.

Do not stay here. We travel a lot and this is by far the worst premier inn we have ever stayed at. You don’t get a single wink of sleep. It seems as though the walls were built out of Aldi’s finest toilet paper. We could hear EVERYTHING….I’m sure you can imagine what we heard at 11:30pm from the couple next door, not pleasant. Someone was snoring and at one point I thought they had crawled into bed next to me. Someone else had left their TV on and it got so loud to the point we complained at reception at 2 in the morning. To be fair to the staff they sorted it out and knocked on the guys door. Also a weird high pitched noise coming from the car park. And after a night from hell and getting a few hours of sleep we were promptly woken up at 7:50am by a toddler running up and down the halls. I know it’s hard for 99% of the population but if you’re staying here please have awareness of others. If you can hear other people’s noises, people can hear yours; it’s common sense I fear. Although common sense does not seem to be so common these days.

The hotel was worn down stayed for 3 nights but overall a quick and easy check in…. Now the restaurant was a different matter it was disappointing the food was disgusting the staff were miserable and just rude. Always on their phones and disappearing for a while wouldn’t recommend going back and when u sit outside you could smelt illegal substances being smoked wouldn’t recommend to anyone and definitely wouldn’t be going back

Booked a night stay here after spending the weekend in Chessington World of Adventures. The location is perfect for the park and the price of the family room was very reasonable, it also had free parking for guests. This is where unfortunately the good bits stop. Check in was fine and we went to the room. Upon opening the door there was a damp musty smell but nothing so terrible we couldn't live with for one night. Bedroom area was fine if a little tired looking in places. The socket under one bedside table was very loose so didn't use- did report this to reception. The bathroom was in dire need of a a full renovation. The toilet seat was broken on the hinge which looked unsightly. There was a crack in the sink. The enamel of the bath was coming away and the bath itself was stained from years of wear and tear. What's worse is that the door handle on the inside was not actually screwed in at all. Something we didn't notice at first. Went to open the door and it more or less came off in my hand. This could have been a problem if my 6 year old had gone in there on his own! Again we reported it to reception in the morning. Eating- there was previously a Beefeater on sight. I had an email the day before arrival to inform me that there were changes to the restaurant but that it was still available to guests. The menu was VERY limited. I had the Katsu curry and rice which consisted of 4 chicken tenders. My son had the kids chicken tenders and chips which was exactly the same type of chicken only he had 3 pie 4!! It was edible but had we not been so tir have more than probably gone elsewhere. didn't bother with breakfast, instead went to garden centre near by to eat a lovely cooked breakfast. It’s such a shame as this could be a great hotel so close to the theme park.

This hotel is in the ULEZ zone, which wasn’t clearly noted in the description and would have influenced my decision to book. The property itself feels worn and in need of a refresh. The Wi-Fi was poor, but the bed was comfortable and provided a decent night’s sleep.

I reviewed the hotel already this year, so won’t repeat that. This time it’s about the closure of the Monkey Puzzle restaurant and its effect on the hotel. I’d like to stress we always find the staff (hotel and restaurant) friendly and helpful. Closing the Monkey Puzzle and removing the sign has made it very hard to find the hotel entrance especially after dark, the sign is not illuminated, and is impossible to see in time if coming from the M25, also the road markings are badly worn, do use Google or SatNav. The range of food in the restaurant is poor. The only British food is Fish and Chips (by British I mean with potatoes). It took half an hour to arrive, the chips had been fried, but they weren’t crisp and I suspect they had been reheated. The fish batter wasn’t crisp, and again I suspect it was re-heated. Fish flavour is delicate and is easily spoilt, so you won’t be surprised that the flavour was poor. It was haddock and we recently had haddock somewhere else and were amazed how much better it tasted. Another evening, I ordered chicken korma, and that did come in a few minutes. It was tasty, but dull, no poppadom, no mango chutney, just korma and rice. Vegetables and salad simply don’t exist on the menu, healthy food is not an option. However we were impressed with the fruit salad. At least it’s an option, and they serve dinner to 9:30pm, so it’s good it’s there. This time the room was cleaned when we requested it! But we left our bin in the hall to get it emptied, it was still sitting there full in the evening. If necessary, at least there is a restaurant, but don’t expect much.
