Very good service and accommodations. Just needed better pillows and mattress needed to be rotated. Could easily have slid off bed since people sit on side of bed next to lamp where cellphones can be charged.

The property was clean and staff was nice. The only negative issue was we requested a handicap accessible room within roll in shower but there were only grab bars with a tub/shower combination. It was an overnight trip so we didn't make a fuss.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this property was. Other motels like this tend to be a little rundown. It was convenient location for exploring the area. Very close to blue ridge parkway and a river trail. However I was told they offered free breakfast but it was just coffee and juice. But there are several restaurants within walking distance. I do love dining at the local mom & pop places around here. I purposely got a room with the jetted tub but was disappointed that the jets didn't work but enjoyed the oversized bath tub.

Location was great. As a 2-star, very acceptable. It was very obviously out of season. Carpenter bees were everywhere outside, impossible to sit on the patio.
Climate control difficult and noisy.
Breakfast was poor, but the place down the street was excellent!
