This was perhaps the most memorable stay I've had in all my travels (and I travel a lot). Chateau de Blet can be traced as far back as 981 (it could be older). It has 13 sets of stair cases, 128 doors and windows to the outside, 78 rooms, turrets and chimneys and amazing private and public spaces. My room was incredible--a huge room with a super comfortable bed, views out to the grounds and the town outside the chateau's gate; the bathroom (complete with claw foot tub) was in one of the turrets and was perfect. Everything was perfect. The owners are fantastic--perfect hosts who know how to make guests feel at home. If you're lucky, Irina, who is a self-taught chef, will reach out and offer a dinner (there's not much else in town) . My advice--go for it! Fantastic four course dinner in a grand dining room. Breakfast the following morning was brought to my room and was exactly what I needed/wanted. A true once in a lifetime experience. So wonderful to meet Irina and Arnold and to hear their stories and share with them. I’m sure if you want time to yourself, they will happily offer that to you too. Bottom line: if you're in this part of France and you have the opportunity, don't miss a chance to stay at Chateau de Blet. I know I'll return.

super séjour, repas d excellente qualité. La maîtresse de maison Irina nous a fait découvrir l histoire du château et nous a préparé un excellant repas digne d un grand chef. Irina a été au petits soins pour nous durant notre séjour organisé pour notre anniversaire de mariage. je recommande cet établissement.

Irina est une personne formidable, chaleureuse et qui n'a pas hésité à nous transmettre son amour pour son château et avec qui nous avons passé la soirée à discuter. Parmi les 20+ châteaux où nous avons séjourné, nous en garderons le meilleur souvenir. Et nos félicitations encore à Irina pour son délicieux repas gastronomique. Nous avons recommandé à nos proches amoureux de châteaux de venir ici ! Je vois pas mal de mauvaise foi dans les avis donc je vais nuancer. Ce n'est pas un hôtel ! Alors, oui, vous êtes dans un lieu qui garde de son authenticité donc pas de clim, des volets à l'ancienne, un parquet qui craque... La route passant à côté n'est pas une nationale, non, et oui certaines personnes l'empruntent ! Petit déjeuner servi en chambre : 1 pain au chocolat avec un tiers de baguette et confiture, jus et boisson chaude : pas le meilleur de notre vie mais pas de quoi se plaindre.

Deuxième séjour dans ce merveilleux endroit hors du temps. Le charme a encore opéré. Tout est parfait ; les chambres sont très spacieuses, très confortables, dans un parc où il fait bon s'y promener. Vous serez reçus par Irina, hôte d'une incroyable gentillesse, très talentueuse en cuisine, soucieuse de votre bien-être. Vivement la 3e visite. Une vraie vie de château!

Soirée du réveillon repas correct le sercive est Familiale ...l animation a été annulée à la dernière minute ou pas .... Décalage entre rapport qualité prix dommage l environnement était prometteur
