The Townhall (Unit of Prohotel)

The hotel is in a poor location and maybe, it is catering to mainly the employees of the nearby compannies for official visits. And, the room provide is not so clean with dark stains on the bed head rest. The towels given were also dirty with lot of stains. The toilet seat is not fitted properly and seepage from the bottom of the commode. The only positive aspect are the people who were user friendly. Ultimately, not worth the money.

1. Location - the property is located at just 30 m from the main road. It's within walking distance of central metro, central railway station. 2. Amenities- room has all the basic amenities starting from toiletries to intercom. 3. Services- the hotel staffs are really polite and they have the etiquettes. Will be at your door step within a minute when needed.

Stayed for 2 nights - 1 triple room and one double room single occupancy. The hotel is clean and about 5 mins walk to the metro. Near the main road. Transport not a problem. The rooms are small. Hardly any space to move around. Found a cockroach in one room. Bathroom needs to have a shelf to keep basic toileteries. The shower and pipe knob was reversed (pull for pipe and push for shower, instead of the other way round). Parking (for one car only) is literally up a steep hill. The hotel is situated in a small lane. The entry to the lane stinks. The reception is usually manned by an aged person. We called him at around 630am regarding the laundry. His reply was ”reception opens only at 7:30am. Why are you calling now?”. No restaurant. We had food in A2B, about 10 mins walks from the hotel. No newspaper in the room. there is wifi. Room has a balcony and an electric kettle (no coffee/tea supplies). The room door was difficult to close. Bottled water is kept in the rooms for drinking. We wanted normal RO water, but the hotel did not have one. So, we bought a 5L bisleri water can. The boys who clean the room are well mannered.
