Modest hotel but good hotel, around 5 min walk from Egmore station.
The staffs are helpful and friendly.
However, the washroom is quite old and the elevator is quite small.
The breakfast is great though, and every meal there are some changes.

I booked a double twin shared bedroom for 3 adults but they gave me a standard room at first. Then asked them about this and then they changed the room and gave a room with two single beds. How come 3 adults sleep in 2 single beds. Bathroom is too small and conjusted. Overall its not a pleasant stay.

I was here just to freshen up and check out after an overnight train journey. The hotel is just plain bad. They did not have towels and said the dry cleaner has to bring it. It has cockroaches roaming all over the room and cabinets. Eek! at breakfast which is a buffet, they said they do not have black coffee. Strange. If you have hot water and coffee powder you could make one. The waiter did not understand that butter was a requirement for bread and found it funny to be trying to get butter for my toast.

A great place to stay at. Whenever i'm in chennai, this has always been my choice of hotel. Its proximity to egmore railway station is a bonus in addition to its wonderful staff and service. The rooms are always clean as well.
