Hotel is in West Mambalam, a very local area in a big, busy city with crazy traffic. The room was a fair size, clean and everything worked. The 1st floor restaurant served veg food which was not so spicy and was good. Staff very helpful, could not do enough to help. Aruna the lovely receptionist ordered us auto's and give us lots of tips on shopping and eating non veg food. Chennai is a tough city to love but the VVGrand was our homely Oasis for a short visit. Thanks to everyone.

Hidden gem in mambalam. Better known by it’s onsite restaurant named “only coffee” this is an unassuming hotel, but the staff go the extra way to make you comfortable. Stayed here for 1 night as family. Close by to most function halls definitely recommended.

I stayed at the hotel with family
when we reached hotel lift was not working, we had to go to room, allotted at third floor by stairs. Next morning lift wad ok. Room was well furnished and provided with all amenities. But it was small. Restaurant provided complimentary breakfast, but was south indian. Restaurant served food with south indian touch. Overall stay was comfortable.

My room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a stunning view of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch.
