Hotels in Chengdu University of TCM/Kuanzhai Alley nearby area, Chengdu

I had a great time in Chengdu, and that was partly due to this hotel. Checking was smooth and I like that it's from 12:00 instead of the usual 14:00 around the world. There's drinks/tea in the lobby that is nicely decorated. There are seats outside to hang out if you want to. The room looks just like the pictures, and has everything you'd need; it's well stocked with snacks, coffee, tea and water. I had a room facing the street and it's nice and quiet during the evening. It's located in a local area, and there's a convenience store next door, and there are a few restaurants, shops and coffee places within walking distance. It's kind of in the middle between two metro stations, both are close enough to walk and it's easy to find. What made it especially nice for me where the little details, such as a lovely written note by the housekeeping staff adding some tips for the stay, or that the staff rushed over to help me setup the laundry machine and they even brought my self-service laundry to the room after the dryer was finished, so I could carry on with my day and not wait for it, so nice! I'd recommend this hotel if you're staying in Chengdu, and would definitely return if I'm in the area again.

I came to Chengdu with my boyfriend, so I booked a hotel in the city center. The price was not high for the hotel, but the cost performance of Chengdu really surprised me! 😝 1. The quilt sheets and pillowcases are all clean, 😍 and they seem to have been ironed. It really cures obsessive-compulsive disorder. I didn’t even change the disposable bedding I brought with me; 2. The smart toilet seat equipped in the bathroom is very considerate, 👏 and the corners are wiped very carefully; 3. The whole house is smart, I really love it. When I get up in the morning, ”Xiaodu Xiaodu, help me open the curtains.” The sun shines in and I feel good all day long~ In general, it is really good, and the service is thoughtful~ I recommend it to families traveling to Chengdu! 👍👍👍

If you want to stay in a hotel in Chengdu with basic facilities and good price, Lancheng Yuerong Food Culture Hotel is your choice. It is very easy to access the subway (so you can go around the city). It does not has a glory look decoration in the hotel lobby but provides all good basic hotel services. We enjoyed the friendly staff and the Chinese calligraphy practice facility in the lobby. It has exercise room but needs work to build it up. Regardless, we will definitely consider to stay in the hotel again for our next visit in Chengdu.

I forgot to take photos, please tell me about your stay. We live on the 6th floor. There is no floor heating on the 6th floor, but the air conditioner is quite hot. The breakfast is quite rich, including eggs, milk, yogurt, intestines, soy milk, bread, noodles, porridge, stir-fries, vegetable salads, and fruits. It is quite rich. The service staff at the front desk are very good, and they will solve any problems if they arise. The transportation is also very convenient. The subway is very close, which is very important.

Loved this hotel! Location is great, near the subway, near Qintai Road to see the Sichuan opera and near Kuanzhai alley to take the shuttle bus to see the Panda Base. The room was very comfortable and clean. They gave me warm milk when I arrived and tang yuan (a chinese food) on my last night.

The first choice hotel near Kuanzhai Alley in Chengdu. This time I encountered the renovation of Zhaiyuan and stayed in Kuanzhai. The room was upgraded and we were contacted in advance to see if we were concerned about the hustle and bustle of the narrow alley during the day. When we checked in, we met Master Wang from Leshan. He recognized us as soon as he saw us, greeted us warmly and helped us, and continued to make us feel the warmth of going home as always. Xiao Li and Xiao Jing at the front desk introduced the most popular fly restaurants in the surrounding area, and thoughtfully sent their location so that we could eat local delicacies when we had time. Walking around Kuanzhai Alley in the early morning and late at night will give you a particularly quiet feeling. recommend!

The hotel is very new, about a 10-minute walk from Fuqin subway station, and not far from Kuanzhai Alley. The facilities in the hotel are all brand new. The air conditioning has a fresh air system and there is no big smell. There is a laundry room on the first floor to meet laundry needs. The hotel staff are also very enthusiastic and the service is very good. However, the future of the new hotel is promising, and areas that need to be improved: 1. Pay more attention to the hygiene of the guest rooms, which will be better! 2. The hotel has no parking lot, which can solve the problem of parking fees. Finally, I look forward to a better future!

The room was very nice and the desk staff are very approachable. They helped me call the cleaner when I noticed the toilet seat had not been cleaned. However later I also noticed a hair on a folded towel and other long hair left on the shower floor. It was not a thorough cleaning job but I do believe the rest was cleaned. I went to enjoy the hot spring, which needs a code for the women's door. But found out that the door was left open anyways and other guests were in the hot spring and using their phones. I wasn't comfortable to fully enjoy it because those rules are not followed. Also the shower area of the hot spring had a strong urine smell. It's really a beautiful hotel but needs more supervision or instruction for cleaning and hot spring rules. The snack bar looked really good and is open late.

This hotel was very accommodating and the staff was very attentive to our requests! The location itself is very convenient to get around the city as it’s close to stores, restaurants, etc. the bed was comfy, room was warm, shower had great water pressure and temperature, and the toilet was nice with a fancy bidet! Fantastic value for the price and highly recommended for future travelers.

I came to Chengdu for the Christmas vacation and specially chose the Weilandai Hot Spring Terrace Room. The room was clean, the hot spring was comfortable, the breakfast was unique, and the staff had a friendly service attitude. I had a happy holiday!
