I booked two rooms — one was fine, but the other was terrible. The rooms are located in an old apartment building that gives off a strong odor. I didn’t know that travelers in China are allowed to smoke indoors, so the room was filled with the smell of smoke, which was quite unpleasant and unbearable for non-smokers.
The cleanliness was also unacceptable. Perhaps the housekeeper should arrange for a thorough cleaning.
The only positive thing I can say is the location — it’s close to a famous tourist attraction and a busy commercial area

There was a smell as soon as I entered. When I turned on the exhaust fan, the room was filled with the smell of oil smoke. I had to turn it off. There was a stench from the sewer in the toilet. I had to keep the door closed, otherwise the room would be smelly. The water heater is not powerful and the hot water is unstable.
