Chengdu x Langzhong Hotel (Chengdu Railway Station East Station Yinghui Road Subway Station Store)

We stayed at Chengdu X Langzong for three nights as part of our honeymoon tour of China. The location is very convenient: close to the metro station and on a central metro line, too! Perfect if you need to take the train to visit, for instance, the Leshan giant buddha. That's about it on the positive aspects. Unfortunately, the hotel has carpet floors in every room and corridor, it smells of cigarettes because you're allowed to smoke in the halls, the toilets have this plastic wrapping on the seat that's supposed to be "to avoid cross contamination" and it's very uncomfortable. Everything has dust of mold on it: from bathroom tiles to the closet where you hang your clothes. The bathroom door was simply crusty and had clearly never been cleaned. It was very unpleasant to stay in such a dirty place. I hope they'll see this review and they'll be inspired to consider elevating the general cleanliness of the place.

Hotel area no food restaurants within walking distance, have to order delivery. Simple hotel

Location is near to subway and only a 20 mins walk to Chengdu east railway station. Number of eateries nearby. Hotel is dated and relatively clean. Breakfast is ok. Chinese porridge with pickles, eggs and vegetables.

The hotel lobby smell bit stingy with strong cigarette smell, adding some room spray/perfume would make the first impression a lot better. The location is perfect as it is very close to the East railway station perfect for those who has train to catch. I made stupid mistake by booking a room without realising it’s a smoking-allowed room, so i had to endured the cigarette smell the whole night.
