Laizhu Xingchen Hotel (Chengdu Chunxi Road)

This is a much better hotel than expected, although the receptionist can speak English at a fair level but can communicate. The entrance to the hotel and the way up to the reception is a bit confusing, but the facilities in the room are very impressive. The level of service and facilities compared to the price paid is worth it.

I stayed here during my solo travel around Sichuan province and I have to say the service here was brilliant! The girls at the front desk were lovely and super helpful, and I was upgraded for free which I really appreciated being on my own. Due to the change in policy I couldn't fly with my battery pack so had to have it sent via SF to the hotel, the reception helped me to pay the fee and kept the package at the desk for me to collect when I got back late. I also extended my stay by one night and the staff were great at communicating the details and keep that same room. The location of the hotel is also brilliant, right on the main shopping street~ I've been to many before so I wasn't that bothered by the shops themselves but to new travellers in China it'd be quite an experience and is very convenient for the station and taxis (though traffic is particularly bad in Chengdu so allow extra time). The cleanliness was reasonable, the fixtures and fittings in the room are a decent standard, my room included a bath overlooking the city view which was particularly cool; the rubbish collected and sheets changed consistently and the water was replenished every day by the nice Ayi even if I hadn't finished the previous bottles. Thank you to the hotel for a great stay! I would definitely stay here again for such a decent price in this location ✨

Hotel location is good, reception friendly and helpful. Even the price is a little hight but it’s worthy

I stayed at Laizhu Xingchen Hotel and was pleased with its excellent location—very convenient for exploring the Chunxi Road area. The hotel is clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful, which made for a pleasant overall experience. However, there are a number of steps within the hotel, which could pose a trip hazard, especially for those with mobility issues. Additionally, the toilet tiles are very slippery, so extra caution is needed when using the bathroom. Overall, a decent stay with good service, but the hotel could improve by addressing some safety concerns.

Good location, not hard to find and near to IFS building, The room was cute with a little panda welcome us. Bed sheets are clean. But we have to go up to front dress floor for re-activated door access card every day, which that not comfortable. We are stay on 17floor, and the running noise sounds from above floor was extremely disturbing us for all night. Well staff was kind even they can’t speak English much. Don’t forget to have some cash for pay a deposit.

The room looks older than in the pictures but it is clean and the housekeeper cleans it diligently every day. The location is very good, it may be a little difficult to find the entrance at first.
