It was a turbulent arrival experience as the hotel was too busy the moment I arrived. No one at the door to help with luggage.
However the stay experience was great, it’s suitable for family stay and the hotel is more like a family house than commercial hotel.

The hotel is pretty quaint. There was some confusion about our booking. They forgot about our room upgrade and to extend our checkout time. I only realised it after we had checked into our room. Upon asking, they immediately offered the extension and explained that no room was available for an upgrade. I don't mind, but I prefer to be told at check-in. The afternoon tea reception was nice, and the staff were knowledgeable about their teas. I think it's a popular tea place amongst the locals as well.
The twin room image is a bit misleading; it looked much bigger than the actual room. I won't recommend it if you are planning to squeeze another bed into the room for the third person. It was fine for two people. The toilet and shower rooms are open-concept, so if you are shy, this may not be a good room to have.

Really lovely hotel right in the middle of the city. The decor is traditional with a nice modern vibe. The staff don’t speak much English, but they’re super friendly and try their best to help. Breakfast is mostly Chinese-style, but they’ve got bread and coffee for international travelers too.

I'm giving this Hotel 10 out of 10. The environment and the service were awesome. Breakfast was ok, but the rest of it and the location were really good. Definitely worth every cent paid!

The staff at the hotel were extremely attentive. Hotel had a cool ancient vine, they communicated really well breakfast was pretty simple, location was great. They were very attentive to everything in the room double check to see if we need anything and was really efficient fast when I asked the receptionist that make reservations will help me with the things. Highly recommend to stay!
