The hotel facilities were fine and clean except for a faint but noticeable cigarette smell. We checked in around 11pm so we made up with it.
We picked this hotel because it was not far from the Panda Base and it was indeed convenient to go. There is good street food options around. The breakfast terrace is pretty enjoyable as well although food is average.
The main issue is that as foreigners, we used our passports to check in. But then they called our room at 2.30am saying there was a problem with our check in. When I asked if it could wait till morning (since we had checked in a few hours ago already) they said it was not possible. They then came to knock at our door. After a good deal of explanations (in Chinese) which they didn't want to listen, we got back to sleep. But we didnt sleep well as we were distressed by this incident. Apparently the hotel was not well aware of the visa-free policy applying to us. This in itself is understandable but waking us up to check is not acceptable. They should have come to us before we got to sleep.

This is a hotel that deserves great praise. Good location, convenient travel; good hardware, four-star decoration; good service. The front desk staff Xiao Wu and Xiao Hui I met when checking in and the handsome guy I met when checking out were all smiling and gentle, which was very heartwarming.

The hotel has many supporting facilities, including teahouse, meeting room, chess and card room, terrace, laundry room, etc. It is very comfortable to live in and the room is very large. We lived on the 18th floor. The view from our room was very open. The service was also good. The comfortable twin bed we originally booked was upgraded to a deluxe twin bed.

We went on a self-driving tour to western Sichuan and departed from Chengdu on the first night. After reading the reviews online, we booked this hotel in advance. The price was not expensive, parking was free, and the room was very clean. When we returned to Chengdu, we still chose this hotel. The service was very enthusiastic. We returned to the hotel very late that night. Knowing that our companions had altitude sickness, they sent hot water to the room and also kindly informed us that the pharmacy next to the hotel was open 24 hours a day. The environment was okay.
