Ascott Raffles City Chengdu Reviews

Extremely excellent location - right above a shopping mall with the MRT a few mins' walk away. Room was nicely decorated, spacious, came with a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, and large fridge. The living room was particularly spacious. The bathroom and separate walk in wardrobe were also nice! bath amenities were from Appelles. Some comments: swimming pool was terribly small, and Trip.com showed an "outdoor swimming pool" which turned out to be the shopping mall's fountain. TV was also very old, not smart, with pixelated/blur channels (which were also very limited). Lovely staff at reception: helped with calling my airline to cancel a flight as I had a change in plans. Breakfast was average.

I always stay here when I come back to Chengdu to visit family. The location is conveniently located near No 1 subway line. The rooms are very spacious and clean. All the rooms are equipped with microwave, washer/dryer and stove top. The gym is 24 hrs and breakfast at Horizon is adequate. All in all, a good hotel to stay in Chengdu.

Hotel staff were very friendly. Checked in late near midnight but staff was still very patient in answering our queries and provide us insights on the city. The rooms were clean and spacious. Highly recommend.

Very spacious room. Clean and well stocked with amenities. The breakfast dining area was quite crowded on a Sunday morning and appeared to be understaffed as tables were not cleaned promptly. Nevertheless, great location and connected to a shopping centre with lots of restaurants.

The reception staff were extremely helpful and kind. The gym was very clean and organize. Equipped with all necessary equipment and it was 24/7. There is a nice sauna room in the mens bathroom next to the swimming pool. The swimming pool closed at 10/11. The chlorine in the water was too much and it left a very strong chemical residue in the air that it burned my eyes because of lack of ventilation in the pool area. The room was squeaky clean. Amazing. The washing machine and tumble dryer were new and worked great. The bath and shower drained properly which was good for a change. The air conditioner made the room nice and cold. As for the room the only critique I have is that the wifi was very bad that I couldn't do my work on my laptop because of the slowness of the wifi. Over all I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Huge room with two bathrooms and laundry in the unit which was great. Very comfy. Close to subways. Pool was a plus. Attached to a mall so convenient. Would definitely recommend.

Very conveniently located, the rooms were spacious and clean. We were lucky to get a corner room that had views of the entire city

it was very hard as staff did not speak English at all and there was no washing machine the hotel is beautiful and very clean

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Ascott Chengdu. The room was clean and well equipped. Special thanks to Lisa at front office who was very helpful, kind and friendly. She answered our questions attentively and gave us the needed help. Raffles City Mall below us is full of restaurants and shops. We only hope that the location could be closer to Chunxi Road.

Excellent services when we checked in 9Mar in the evening at about 9.30pm. The 2 lovely ladies on duty provided great help to ensure that our trip to jiizhaigou the next day went smoothly without glitches. They assisted us to ensure the payment to agent done without hassle due to no local number. At the same time, the communication to the agent gives us peace of mind when arranging for transport the next day. Count yourself blessed to have employees like them.

Hotel is very spacious, bfast is nice and cheap when u book together with the room. In the middle of our trip, we went to other places and when we returned, they gave us the same room when we check out, very good services!!!

Please improve breakfast menu and the breakfast restaurant cleanliness.

Location is good and the service is excellent. Had a free upgrade. Below there is a shopping center with everything you need.
