The hotel is located in a historically protected area and cars don't have access. We parked our car in a nearby car park and we were picked up by foot by someone from the hotel. Check in took a while, but I am not really sure what the hold up was. Guess they wanted to be thorough when it comes to visa permitting staying in their hotel. It felt like we were the only people in the hotel. It must be buzzing with people and noise during peak season. The walls are very thin and you can hear people talking inside the rooms. The hotel is very old and centrally located. The interior is really beautiful. Sadly I didn't have much time to enjoy the public rooms long enough. The personnel were nice, but a bit too nosy for my own taste. The hotel is located in the middle of an artificial lake. Breakfast was simple and ok. The room had a few faults with lightning and you can hear noise from outside easily, but still, yes I would go back, if I ever would stay again in this pretty Watertown 😊

Booked this hotel for May Day trip. An ancient hotel with good service. After parking the car, the hotel will arrange a waiter to pick you up. Because it was the day before May Day, the ancient town was also very quiet. The room was very clean and tidy. The dolls liked the big bathtub very much. The only thing is that this kind of house is not soundproof. Staying in the hotel comes with two tickets to Happy Farm. This is more cost-effective.
