Minyoun Chengdu Dongda Hotel Reviews

We had a wonderful experience at the Minyoun Hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. For the duration of our stay, we enjoyed the breakfast because there were different options each day. More importantly, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable as well. The location of the hotel is near the river where there is a plethora of local food street vendors and restaurants as well as karaoke bars. I recommend any traveler to stay at the Minyoun while visiting Chengdu!!

We were there in Chengdu and faced some sudden changes in our itinerary when arriving,the staffs was extremely helpful and friendly in assisting us for all the problems and queries. I had my mother and brother birthdays on the day we checked in, the staff did a lot of surprises with decorations and cards, really appreciate the help from the morning sets of service crew. I may not get their names but i remember the gentleman with spectacles, along with two ladies with great smiles. 100% would recommend our friends or families to choose this hotel whenever they visit chengdu!!!

The room was on the 38th floor, incredible view, big and clean room, near food street! Really good

Really good in general. The pool was small and loaded with chlorine and Chinese people bad at swimming. Room was amazing, staff as well :). Would recommend!

We had a great time in Chengdu and our stay at minyoun hotel helped make all the difference. It is quite a luxurious hotel with the reception on the 33rd floor and rooms even higher up meaning that all rooms came with an unobstructed view of the city skyline. Location was also great being within walking distance ~7-10mins to taikooli (shopping area) and lankwaifong (bar/club area). It was also only 100/200meters away from a metro station which we honestly didn’t use, as taxis were all only 10-20rmb (~€2) Finally the staff were excellent and particularly helpful at every request. Special shoutout to the 2 girls (apologies if we have the names wrong but Chris and Joy?), and Stefan Hu who took the time to suggest all the best places to visit around Chengdu - helping us add the locations to our maps and gifting us a tourist information notebook and panda! We really enjoyed our stay at minyoun hotel and would highly recommend staying here. The staff brought our stay to another level, thank you ⭐️

Our family had a short stay at the hotel. The hotel's location is convenient for sight-seeing whilst also for authentic Sichuan food. The service was good - the staff offered kids' amenities having seen them; there was also a WeChat butler which made making request and enquiry all the more convenient. Great value for money.     

A little dated, but overall still a good hotel to stay. Location wise not within walking distance to shopping streets need to didi. Breakfasts are good though. There are plenty of food around the streets behind the hotel. That’s a plus point. Lobby is on the 33rd floors and you will need to take 2 lifts to your rooms…😂 over all good experience still.

Did a Pre-Trip with the same Hotel as my Company’s Convention and extended 1 more night Post Meeting. Specified Non-Smoking in my requesr and received a confirmation of my request being adhered. Yet I was given a Smoking Room!

The receptionist said she charge CNY 2600 and deposit CNY 400. But at the end i have been charged CNY 3000 without giving back the deposit to me

I recently stayed 3 nights at the hotel and this was a 10/10 experience. The check in process was seamless and the service from all staff were amazing. Hotel room service was also 10/10. Having stayed at multiple hotels worldwide this was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Location was good too. Extremely close to a metro station and to all tourist attractions within the city centre. The hotel facilities were also impressive.
