Our experience at the hotel was great! Very friendly staff at the reception: they helped us booking taxis to go to the train station and to the Panda Research Base, the tickets for the Chinese Opera (experience which I definitely recommend to do at least once!) and a super early morning transfer to Tianfu Airport. The hotel is very well organised to assist foreign non-Chinese speaking tourists at best (provides informative material in English on the wide range of services and tours offered. As a foreigner who speaks Chinese, I was positively surprised to see such a high degree of organisation). We also had the chance to eat at their in-house restaurant twice, and it was a very nice experience. And well, just the hotel courtyard alone is so beautiful itself. The typical Chinese architecture and forniture are so relaxing and soothing to the eye. The rooms are clean, and they make them up every day. The location is also super convenient: very near to Tonghuimen metro station 通惠门站（line 2). We recommend this hotel 100%, and should we come back to Chengdu in the future, we would definitely come here again!

The hotel is in traditional style, the location fantastic, on the famous Qintai Lu, close to Metro station and park. The staff was very helpful and friendly, in particular Frank and Bella. Breakfast was more than adeguate. Would gladly stay again.

Prime location and close to the subway. Kuanzhai alleys in walking distance and the People’s Park one stop away. Frank at reception I was very helpful with advice and booking taxis. A good compromise if you’re going to Tibet from the West Railway Station.

The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive housekeeping and concierge services, every interaction was professional and friendly. They were prompt to assist with our luggages the moment our car stopped in front of the hotel. Frank the manager and Bel were always ready to assist with a smile. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests made us feel valued and well taken care of throughout our stay.

The service at Wenjunlou was fantastic, the staff were so friendly and helpful... nothing was too much trouble and they were able to help arrange Opera tickets and a car to Leshan for the day. We ate at the restaurant for dinner both nights; food was delicious and well priced. The hotel is very iconic with the balcony and rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was great and we also enjoyed walking through the Culture park and adjacent Palace. Would happily recommend staying here.

We very much liked the hotel because of its atmosphere and because it is well located, sparkling clean and has a good restaurant. But what really makes us love the place is the wonderful and personal service provided by all the staff. Clean, well located, near a metro stop and some tourist attractions. Very nice staff. A big thank you to 小魏 who helped me buy the ticket for the Panda Research Center. Thank you for the help! The hotel also has a restaurant and there are several food options in the area.

This hotel is amazing! Frank met us the day we arrived and upgraded us to a family room for better comfort and views. He helped me deal with a booking issue for a tour and gave us great advice on where to spend our free time. He even sent fruit to the room on our arrival. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was great (the heated toilet seat was the best toilet I've ever used lol). The building is a very traditional old style Chinese building set amongst many other similar buildings. The restaurant has great food at great prices, too. There were markets directly across the street. The opera was a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The best hot pot street was 5 minutes walk. And the hutongs (? Traditional street markets) were only a 10 minute, leisurely walk away. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone and would like to thank Frank for his amazing, above and beyond service.
