Fantastic hotel. Service is impeccable. Everyone is so well trained. Gym facilities are comprehensive. Room is spacious. The only one downside is the cigarette smell that permeated my room. Affected my sleep. Other than that, great experience.

It's a St. Regis that is deserving of its brand. However our checking in was delayed by an hour. Thankfully we were amply comforted with complimentary coffee at the Reading Room corner on the lobby floor while we waited. The English proficiency of the reception could be higher for a St Regis. The aircon vent in my room needs a little cosmetic repair (See photo). Nevertheless we are still highly pleased with our brief stay and are prepared to return as guests again.

Front desk service was slow. Waited about 45 minutes to check in.
Concierge service was excellent. They collected all my deliveries about 20 packages and sent to my room. Also helped me to send packages from the hotel.
Coffee machine was not working so ordered coffee from room service. TV at bath tub also not working.
Rooftop bar was empty, very quiet. Ended up having drinks at 4th floor bar which was quiet too, only 2 tables were occupied.
Front desk staff in the early morning of 29 May was unhelpful. I asked if I could have a cup of warm water. He said they do not have hot water at the lobby, I could get it from my room. How ridiculous! I was already at the lobby waiting for my day trip van to pick me up.
Left my suitcase with concierge while I went on 2 day trip to Emei Shan.
Overall service was good.

St Regis is a grand hotel that needs no introduction. Immense rooms, big and comfortable beds, excellent bathroom, great gym, delicious, varied and huge breakfast. It's one of the best 5 stars hotels brand in China. Nonetheless , we have to say that we had an issue with the air-conditioning. The air was not freezing enough, and we suffered from heat during the night, especially if you consider that the blankets are very thick. Considering that it's a five-star hotel of very high level, it wasn't up to par.

Had an extremely pleasant stay at the hotel. Mira from St Regis assisted me during check in and I would rate her 10/10 in service and excellence. Appreciate being served by such a wonderful staff employee of St Regis Chengdu.

Somehow I was disappointed by the service part. As stated here is 1 King Bed and 1 Single Bed. However what this means to St Regis hotel is 1 King Bed and 1 foldable bed. Foldable bed Is definitely different from those proper bed and affected the quality of sleep.
Other things such as breakfast, cleanliness are good.
