Looks great from the outside but far better on the inside. Great amenities, peacocks and swimming pool. Fantastic breakfast choice and good quality food. The courtyard area is great for relaxing and room really spacious and comfortable. Directly across the road is the Chen Ancestral Home and it's a short walk to the riverside. Endless cycling routes in the countryside.

Will be great if there is a bidet, and hooks to hand towels in the bathroom.
Otherwise the duplex is great for families or close friends getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

No facilities to speak of, swimming pool is locked up (even if it was open I wouldn't dare dip in an abandoned pool).
It's in the middle of friggin' no where and I'm not even exaggerating. I checked out after 2 hours so if this gives you an indication of what to expect, be my guest. To be fair, the hotel did immediatelly call us to ask why the heck we just left (we lied and said we got some urgent business to take care of).
Yes I just left, didn't even care about the payment, I just paid to another hotel somewhere far away from this ----hole.
To be fair, it's an extremely tranquil, quiet, and peaceful place if that's what you're into. The bar is open but there isn't even crickets inside so no point in it being open if there isn't a bartender present. The room is spacious but ironically in such a remote place, the room didn't really afford much privacy; anyone can peek in from the backyard.
And most disappointingly is no massage/spa, which is in my opinion the only thing that seperates the Angsana brand from other brands. No massage, so what's the point of being in the middle of friggin' nothingness? Is this hotel into some crazy Zen mandate?

Thank you to Tina and Nicole at the front desk for their wonderful service! Seeing I was traveling with my child, they upgraded my room for free and provided children's slippers, toiletries, and a bed guard. The hotel's dinner was also excellent.
