Hot spring Hotels in Chengdu

Not too bad location. About 15 mins walk to kuan zai street. Quite a bit of walking distance to mrt. 50+ km to tianfu airport. Taking didi to airport from hotel will get u some drivers requesting more than the amount indicated, eg rmb 200 for trip to airport. However, hotel room size is good. Toilet is good. I love the hotel. Breakfast is also quite good. Never tried the free afternoon food, but I believe it is good too because the hotel experience is good.service is also on point. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. I will very likely stay here again the next time I'm here in chengdu

19 - 22 July 2024 My family checked into InterContinental Hotel at the New Century Global Center, Chengdu on 19 July 2024. This was exactly the time of the microsoft global outage affecting computer networks and systems, but we were well received at check-in by Mr. Sean who, despite the system difficulties, managed to ensure a smooth check-in experience. Due to the global outage, another individual - Mr. Sunday Wang - awaited us at our designated block’s elevator as he had to personally open our room using his employee assigned room card. To compensate for the inconvenience, welcoming fruits and bakery snacks were delivered to the room much to the delight of our 2 kids. As always, rooms were well kept and fresh. One particular individual my kids look forward to seeing everytime is Ms. Sunny. Sunny ensured we had a fine dining experience everytime we ordered room service or went to the restaurant for breakfast. Those extra ice-creams and fruits surely made our kids happy in addition to her spending time out of her busy schedule to play with our kids. In addition to Sunny’s generosity, she made sure our last day/night of stay was upgraded to those nice and spacious family rooms on the ground floor…very beautiful rooms. So grateful and thankful for all the wonderful service at InterContinental Hotel giving my family everlasting fond memories. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone keen on making great memories and experience professional and friendly customer service.

Place is clean and staff are responsive. They provide a free high tea on day of check in. The down side is that the hotel is a shared space with another building. Getting a didi ride is slightly inconvenient as we have to walk out to the road side. There is no safe in the room.

Stayed as a couple for 1 night in December. Hospitality at Heritage Hotel really made all the difference. Mr. Frontdesk was very cheerful and helpful. The hotel has no elevators, he and the other ladies would all help to carry our luggages up 1-2 floors. They were very helpful with storing our Taobao packages before we check-in as well. The hotel looked as aesthetic as it does online. Only regret is not staying longer!

The guest rooms are comfortable and warm, with a large space. The hygiene is very careful. Even the dead corners near the windows are clean and dust-free. The bed sheets and quilt covers are clean and tidy. The bathroom is large and there is a bathtub for bathing. The towels are soft and skin-friendly. It is quiet when sleeping at night and not noisy at all. There is no need to worry about being unable to sleep due to noise. The hotel has a particularly high cost-effectiveness and comfort, giving guests a sense of home. Overall, the stay was very satisfactory.

Fantastic is the word...🥳🥳🥳 Rooms are excessively hot sleeping hours and no way of boosting the air conditioning.. Great location and with supermarkets, kids entertainment & restaurants neighbouring this property... Shared breakfast & dining area and assesibility to the Hotspring. Perhaps need to separate two different guests coming to the common dining area.. Great hotel for those coming for Hotsprings holidays. Might be a bad idea for business travellers because the hotel is packed with kids holiday makers especially for the Hotspring...

I dare not say it is the ceiling of the homestay industry, but it is also in the first echelon. The environment is impeccable. There are three floors in a building, not many rooms, each of which is very large. The hot spring pool is not small, and the water flow is very strong. The layout of the park behind the building is very thoughtful, the scenery is very good, the environment is quiet, the service attitude is also very good, there are supper in the evening, and the drinks and food at the bar are free every day. A few small suggestions for those who are used to using smart toilets or tourists from other places to Sichuan, smart toilets are really more friendly. You can consider changing it. The cleaning lady should be a local aunt. There are some small omissions. She forgot to replace the used bath towels and bathrobes the next day. In addition, the breakfast does not change much every day. These are all minor flaws.

Customer service was excellent as staff were very friendly and proactive to render support. I gave one star for amenities due to food that was not fresh, which probably led to my food poisoning. After eating the buffet breakfast, I suffered from food poisoning. My best guess was the soybean milk or fried fritters (油条) which seemed to be recooked leftovers. Luckily my son and wife did not eat them. During the same buffet breakfast, my wife found the baby tomatoes to be rotten and alerted the chef to remove them. In addition, supper during my second night was cold green bean soup likely to be leftover from my first night supper. Lastly, another minor problem was that my room didn't have any towel rack to hang bath towels which was quite inconvenient. Dryer in washing machines malfunction as my washed clothes were still wet after 3hours of drying.
