During my stay, I was deeply impressed by the service attitude of the front desk staff. Whether it was checking in, talking, or asking questions, they were very patient and responsible. They also recommended delicious Sichuan restaurants nearby and told us which places in Chengdu were bad spots. Thank you very much. Where did you recruit such good employees? Every employee of the hotel was also smiling and thoughtful, which made me feel the warmth of home. The room was spacious and bright.

Facilities: The facilities and equipment are very new. The toilet can be operated by remote control, which is awesome.
Hygiene: Auntie cleans the house every day and will ask you what you need. If you don’t have paper towels, ask the front desk and they will give them to you.
Environment: It is very close to the Wenshu Monastery attraction, and it is not far away from other popular attractions. And if I don’t know, the front desk will help recommend it, which is very considerate.
Service: The ladies at the front desk are very enthusiastic and responsive to all requests, especially Miss Tingting, Miss Yanyan and Miss Jingjing. The service is very good 👍 When we check in at the store, we will also let us draw a blind box and give us fruits in the afternoon. We give it away, there are many elements from Journey to the West

I started searching for a room when I arrived in Chengdu on the 1st. I saw that this hotel was all old-brand hotels, located near Kuanzhai Alley and Chunxi Road, with convenient transportation and no price increase, so I booked this hotel directly. After checking in, the room was very clean, the mattress was quite comfortable, and the key was that the service attitude was very good. Special thanks to the front desk receptionists Xiaoxue and Xiaoyi. Because I had to catch a flight at 4 pm, I wanted to delay the check-out for two hours. Later, after I informed them by phone, the beautiful sister was super thoughtful in service. I asked the cleaning sister to clean our room later so that we could check out later and not have to drag the suitcase on the road after checking out. I am really super super grateful.

Hotel stay was good, price was cheap with excellent service and amenities was outstanding. Loved the heated toilet seat and did not expect the hotel to have this for the price. We were surprised there was laundry service available, did wonders as we needed to wash some clothes due to our trip. We only planed to stay one night but needed up staying another night. Recommended for a cheap stay and for excellent service.

Friendly personal that helps you with everything. I am a foreigner and dont know a lot how to buy tickets for a show or how to use this app. They take your time to help you. Also their rooms and everything is clean. I really like staying there and even booked for another day. It's close to a beautiful park (where all the cool grandmas and grandpas dance) snd close to a commercial center. It also wont take long to get to Junli or to Chunxi

SShenhai^_^danIt was a very pleasant accommodation experience. This time I brought Xiaobao to Chengdu and spent a lot of time choosing a hotel (see pictures and comments). Some comments said that the facilities of a 10-year-old hotel could not keep up. Later, considering that I was traveling with Xiaobao alone, I chose Diaoyutai (I thought at least the location was good). The first feeling after arriving at the hotel: quiet, clean, sanitary, and enthusiastic. Check-in was very fast. Xiao Wang at the front desk upgraded my room type for free, and provided private butler-style service. The room provided a Dyson hair dryer. I have a lot of long hair, and the hair dryers provided by other hotels are difficult to dry. Book a location in advance to watch Sichuan Opera (4 minutes walk from the hotel). Xiaobao likes to take a bath and play in the water. The cleaning lady also disinfected and laid a disposable bathtub film and then put the water in... There are too many things to say. Next time I go to Chengdu, I will stay in this hotel, which can save a lot of time.

GGuest UserThe environment, hardware, service, and meals are super good. The photo is completely inferior to the atmosphere of the scene. The whole two-day trip, from morning to night, the family is taken care of in every way. The activities are rich and leisurely suitable for parents and children, but it will not be like the noise of children everywhere in the parent-child hotel. Adults and children can be fully relaxed. Deep into nature, adults are healed, children feel the fun of nature. Meals: Even breakfast is a private dish, you must order dinner, and there is a late night gift. Service: It is like going to a friend's house to be a guest, from reception, check-in to leaving, and be taken care of. Hardware: Yuan can say that everything is ingenuity! It's slightly like the style of Six Senses and Menghualu, but it's deep in the bamboo sea and cannot be replicated. It's all built with heart, that is, it's completely integrated into nature and has hard hardware support. The stay experience is very comfortable. Environment: unique, I can say thank you for having such a beautiful small courtyard in such a quiet place ”sit alone in the secluded, surviving and independent!”

DDelboyThis was a first class experience at a first class hotel. Right from the start I was made to feel at home and was allowed to check in much earlier than 2pm which was ideal as I could freshen up before going to my future work place. In addition, complimentary breakfast was added to my reservation which again was a big bonus and the choices were fantastic. The grounds around the hotel are very nice to take a walk and the hotel is very near to many restaurants. The room itself was comfortable and great value for money and even having a bathtub was nice to use at the end of the day. This is a great place for anybody to stay and is family friendly which is convenient to go and see the pandas. All the staff were fantastic but I must mention Paul who really went that extra mile to make stay comfortable and even exchanged his Wechat in case I needed any help. His professional approach and English speaking ability is a great asset to the hotel. I will definitely be returning soon.

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms.
Some noteworthy details:
- Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort.
- The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include:
(a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now!
(b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room
(c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C.
(d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold.
- Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them.
- We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away.
- We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2.
- Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too.
- We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests.
Areas of improvement:
- Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake.
- The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper.
- Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor).

EEmmanuelThe location is perfect. Just a short walk in between 2 metro stations that allow you to connect into 2 Metro Lines. The service is great. Real 5 Star Service especially the Butler service that assist us easily via WeChat. The breakfast buffet is amazing with wide selection of local and western breakfast choice. Staffs are all great and friendly. The room size is huge with a very nice view over the city. Although the hotel is a bit old but we can see that the hotel is well maintained and the amenities they provide is of high quality. One of us got sick with an upset stomach and the Buttler assisted us so nicely and even provided us a meal with room service for the upset stomach. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chengdu.

Because I always need to find convenient and cost-effective accommodation when I bring children and the elderly. This is the best choice. It is very close to Kuanzhai Alley, People's Park, Metro, Tianfu Square, Taikoo Li, and Caotang. The hotel's eldest sister is enthusiastic. Since my itinerary is jumping and I need to check the physical condition of the elderly while traveling, the accommodation time will change. The eldest sister not only meets all our needs, but also helps us keep our luggage and turn on the air conditioner in advance. It's very heartwarming! This family-style hotel is very suitable for our family travel! I am very satisfied with the service and accommodation! ! !

LLeeyixuanClean and comfortable. Rooms are large and equipped with all the necessities we need. Excellent location, about 10 mins walk to Chunxi Road Station E1 exit. There's also a convenience shop just next to the hotel which opens from 7am to 10pm. We stayed for a total of 7 nights throughout our 12-day trip, and the hotel kindly helped to safekeep our luggage when we went out for short trips around chengdu.
Many thanks to all staffs from Howdy Smart Hotel and we will definitely come back when we visit chengdu next time.

Disposable toilet seat cover was to my surprised, as well as the international power points around the entire room. The stuff and cleaners here were absolutely welcoming and helpful too.
However, there were abit of smell in the toilet not sure if it was leftover from the previous people or just the ventilation problem. Although everything looked clean in the room, but we have somehow been experiencing nose allergy every night we come back to the room and turn on the AC. So maybe the air conditioning can be clean more regularly together with the lights cover tat were slightly covered with dust.

JJessyT.Really lovely hostel! The staff are so nice and helpful, and they speak perfect English! They have free events which was fun and an awesome way to meet other backpackers! We stayed in a private room, which was nice! The room itself was clean, stylish, and comfortable. The bathrooms were also nice! Just sometimes no hot water for showering at night. Overall really good hostel, would definitely come back! Oh and lots of good restaurants and convenient stores around.

HHana moriThe hotel name is rather deceiving. When I booked, I thought it was IHG's Holiday Inn, but it's actually not. The location is somewhere in the middle of a village near the airport, but luckily they provided free airport pick up service (For international tourists, it's best to get a local number to call the hotel). Due to construction works nearby, the distance to the airport took longer than expected. But, overall the stay is okay as the room is nice and comfy.
