Hotels in Chengde Mountain Resort/Eight Outer Temples Area, Chengde

Highly recommend. We live in China and have stayed in a few different cities/hotels now and this was by far the best. The building is historic and beautiful and extremely well maintained. The rooms feel brand new and are very thoughtfully laid out. The room comes with all kinds of small conveniences in case you forgot something or need something. The staff were all extremely helpful and welcoming, from the front office staff to the housekeeping to the repair men. We arrived late on a stormy night and they went out of their way to help us figure out dinner. When the weather got worse and spoiled our plans, the staff did everything they could to rescue the weekend, even at the hotels expense. We plan to come back again when the weather is nicer and will 100% stay here. I can't imagine why you would stay anywhere else, especially if you're there to sightsee. The hotel opens directly into the park, it's wonderful.

Affordable and value for money stay in the heart of Cheng De city. The check in process was very quick even for me who is a non-PRC citizen. The room was very clean and tidy but the bed could be more comfortable. All amenities such as a toothbrush, towel, shower cap and soap provided. The toilet is spacious and comes with a strong lamp heater. However the toilet might be a bit old. The staff is friendly and even gave me a free upgrade to a window room. They greeted me when I went out of the hotel and when I went back.

Good location, clean hotel, nice breakfast. The hotel even deliver dessert to the room after dinner time. I have parcel not able to reach the hotel and the receptionist, 赵丽伟and her colleagues were helping me to contact the delivery man to make sure my parcel can arrive hotel on time. Really appreciate their help on this matter. Overall, it is recommended to stay in this hotel in Chengde.

This time I went to Chengde and booked the Puning Hotel, which is very close to the Little Potala Palace, museums, and Puning Temple. There are also many places to eat in the surrounding area and all kinds of conveniences. The courtyard of the hotel is bright and spacious, and the parent-child room with a small courtyard is very satisfactory. The service is excellent. In addition to snacks, facial masks and plasters are thoughtfully prepared as gifts, and the details are full of details. I really like the unique wallpaper in the interior, and the toiletries are also great. It’s a very satisfying accommodation experience. If I have the opportunity to stay at his house again, I hope that I will not forget my original intention, as always. . .

Hotel within walking distance to Chengde Mountain Resort . Lot of restaurants and shopping street around the hotel. Hotel room is spacious. Bed is very comfortable. Have a good sleep after long walk at Mountain Resort and surrounding temples. Breakfast has lot of variety.

It is late autumn, and my wife and I decided to seize the last opportunity for tourism in the north to visit Chengde. I booked a two-night stay at the Atour Hotel in the Mountain Resort on October 23 and 24 on Ctrip. The high-speed rail from Beijing Chaoyang Station to Chengde takes only 59 minutes, which is in line with the slogan: ”So close and so beautiful, go to Hebei on weekends”. Of course, for us elderly people, off-peak travel is the best choice. On the morning of the 23rd, we took a taxi from Chengde South Station to Atour Hotel. As soon as we got off the car, the security guard helped us take the box into the lobby. The front desk clerk immediately poured hot tea to greet us. Miss Zhao quickly arranged for us to check in and gave us the treatment of upgrading the room, so that we immediately got a good rest. I have stayed at Atour Hotel three times in the past, and its service quality has left me with a good impression. This time I stayed at Atour Hotel in Chengde, and I once again felt the experience of being at home. Whether it is the front desk, restaurant, or room waiters, they are very dedicated and professional. They treat guests warmly and repeatedly tell us to call if we have anything. They also send two bottles of warm bottled water when we check out. The hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by many shopping malls and restaurants, as well as a lively night market, but the overall environment is quiet. The transportation is very convenient, and you don't even need to use a taxi app. There are taxis waiting outside. The taxi management in Chengde is very standardized. No matter how far you go, you must use the meter when you get on the taxi. The hotel is very close to the Summer Resort. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the main gate of the resort. Because of this, my wife and I visited the resort twice on the 24th and 25th. Finally, the hotel's breakfast is great! Location: Relatively superior. There is a river in front of the hotel, which is said to be the mother river of Chengde. It is very beautiful to take a walk at night and enjoy the night view. It's easy to walk to the summer resort. There is a supermarket next to it and a restaurant in the hotel. I eat three meals a day in the hotel. The dishes are rich and the prices are acceptable. I highly recommend it. Service: The smiling service at the front desk was very friendly and enthusiastic. The Chengde travel guide was clearly explained. If you don’t know the guide, just ask them directly. I told them the wifi password and phone number, and if I have anything to talk to the front desk. Room: Very clean, the quilt smells like sunshine, the bed is comfortable, I slept until dawn Parking: There is a parking lot and a responsible security guard. Environment: The hall is very elegant, beautiful, quiet and comfortable. It is really good to listen to piano music in the lounge hall. Overall: I am very satisfied with my stay. I will stay here again next time. I recommend it.

The room is clean and bright, with a good view. It is in a residential area, not facing the street, and very quiet. There are tents, dolls, building blocks, and picture books in the room, so children can play by themselves for a long time. The service was very good and attentive. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor is cost-effective and tastes good.

A compromise hotel between price, quality and proximity to tourist features. Can get here from the fast train station via bus 67 to the (old) train station, then bus 28 stops right outside. Hotel is quiet, clean, good wifi. Only disposable towels offered, they were crap 40 years ago and still crap. Breakfast for CNY 18 very ordinary. I went to McDonald's, 600m to the left. Bus #6 to the upper attractions and bus#10 gets you close to the hammer rock site. There's a great restaurant just down hill on your left and a supermarket just past it. As with the hotel, restaurant and tourist attractions, medium Chinese language skills preferred.

I upgraded to a suite for free. It has excellent hygiene and a good environment. The solid wood furniture feels like home. It is well soundproofed and quiet. I am satisfied⊙∀⊙! The hotel has both a ground parking lot and an underground parking lot. Before arriving, I was worried that I would not be able to find the parking entrance. There were security guards leading the way when I arrived at the hotel, and the service attitude was very good. Everyone closes their eyes and enters, no problem.
