We were staying for two nights and booked the hotel for the location which was nice for a stay in chengde if you want to walk and take the bus to the scenic spots.
The room itself was fine just the bathroom could be a bit nicer.
Would still recommend.

Basically didn't get anything I booked the hotel for.The room I was given faced the alley way. Bathroom was mouldy and unpleasant with sewage smell coming from the drains. Had to keep the exhaust fan going constantly to try and vent the smell out. As with a lot of Hotels the sound proofing between rooms was non-existent. I booked a QueenRoom with window facing the river. If you want to choose this Hotel you'd better demand to see the room first so you don't get the ones in need of desperate renovations.

Great central location and very accommodating staff. Excellent value! I am traveling by bicycle and they were very accommodating me and my gear. I recommend this place!

Very nice stay because the hotel is ideally located in the city center and there are many shops around, several bus stops and everything is very convenient. The room was okay, it would have been better with a better bathroom (separation for toilets and shower, the door with curtain for privacy in the room).

Cleanliness: The sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases were not changed, and we used disposable sheets and duvet covers.
Service: The mineral water was not changed.
Facilities: The bathroom facilities are old.
But the location is excellent, with a park, night market, and large supermarkets nearby. They also give you a bath ticket, which is nice. Don't go to the Eight Bowls restaurant I mentioned. The menu is yin-yang and not very friendly to outsiders. Don't go?
