Chengde Kumquat hotel, has a good location – 10 minutes of walking from Chengde South Railway Station. Rooms are clean and spacious. However, there are no fabric towels, only paper ones. Imagine you dry yourself with a paper towel, which is disgusting, It is not enough, so you have to suffer after taking a shower. The old lady who rents eight rooms (that is all for this small hotel) does not want to bother to wash towels; she prefers lazy lifestyle of rich owners - easy money with less work.

Definitely so far the best hotel I have stayed in China so far. Huge and clean room, easy check in, very helpful staff 🙏

For the price excellent value As good as hotels double the price The space is new and clean and the
bed and other furniture are good quality Only thing that marks it as a low budget hotel are the disposable paper bath towels - though they do the job Close to railway station is a bonus

I didn't expect to be able to book a hotel with such a clean and spacious room. The boss is very enthusiastic and the price is very good. My parents who love hygiene at home said it was very good.
