This is an amazingly beautiful property. We stayed in the McCullough House. It has 2 rooms which was perfect for my Mama, 2 daughters and I. It is spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. It does have a bit of a musty smell which is to be expected in a property if that age. We loved the porch swing and rocking chairs. We also enjoyed exploring the property. Breakfast was wonderful. After breakfast Ms. Beulah gave us a private tour of the main house. We loved learning the colorful history of the plantation. The upstairs guest suites are gorgeous! I would love to return with my husband and stay in the main house. I would definitely return to the McCullough House as well. Great experience.

This was a unique experience for us. Our first B&B. We really enjoyed our stay and breakfast was great! The house was beautiful and the cabins were well kept. Lots of antiques on display and lots of history. When we are back in this area we will definatly consider staying here again.

Called last minute late evening to book room during travel from north Florida to Dallas; couldn't have had a more welcoming and professional reception; enchanting historic place, cosy and a**ospheric; comfy bed, very spacious and functional; unique experience in an out-of-the-way authentic old plantation home. Excellent hot breakfast served in main house.

This was a great getaway. It was historical and beautiful. The inn keeper cooked us breakfast told us stories and showed us around. She been working there for 42 years so she knows all history. Great place for family reunion or group of friends family friendly

We had my wife's 50th birthday at Loyd Hall and it was perfect. Friends and family stayed on the property and loved their accommodations. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! We must have had 70 guest at the event and they all said it was epic!

Loyd Hall is an amazing oasis, situated minutes from town, in the beautiful country setting of Chenyville. We stayed in the Magnolia Cabin, and when you open the door you take a step back in time on the beautiful brick floors. This room also has the ability to join the Camilla Cabin, which was great, because we made friends immediately with the couple beside us. The main house is GORGEOUS!! Breakfast was AMAZING. The tour was very interesting and was hosted by the Inn Keeper, who has been with the home for 52 years. Even though I live in Alexandria, my family and I will be back. Our trip for this occasion was centered around my friends 50th Birthday! Loyd Hall was the perfect venue.

Wonderful secluded place to get away to ! The innkeeper very charming and knowledgeable about the venue . Highly recommend and will return soon . Breakfast was excellent , overall a memorable stay .

You’ll want to stay for the breakfast. The plantation house is beautiful with some amazing furniture. The pool is nice, though it was a bit too cool & windy for us when we were there. There’s some cars floating around but they wouldn’t let us get close to any of them. Watch out for weird-******* occurrences.
