The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished, in a good location so you can walk to the town centre and the racecourse. However some things stop it getting a top rating - the website says "free parking" which is technically true but there was no car park, we had to find a space in a nearby street and walk from there - the hot water supply was unreliable so the shower varied between cold and really hot - the supply of shower gel was rather stingy - 2 small bottles for 2 people for 2 nights - I feel at £185 / night it is rather over priced.

Excellent apartment, centrally sited. Well proportioned rooms with all mod cons . Highly recommended for locality to racecourse. No noisey premises nearby. View was a car park with a busy road outside , not withstanding that its delightful boutique stay. Comfy beds and cosy too.

Stayed in Montpellier suite on ground floor, beautiful apartment, lots of room for 2 people, fantastic decor in living room, lovely kitchen and bathroom has everything you need, including mini toiletries and welcome pack including tea coffee milk bread. Comfy large bed, and having parking right behind the apartment is great! Loved our time there would definitely recommend and will return!!

We stayed at Portland Apartments for the weekend with our young daughter. The apartment was lovely and spacious, clean and well equiped. They even put some things in the fridge for breakfast which was a lovely touch. The lady who worked there was lovely and also recommended some restaurants to us. They also agreed to let us have an early check in as my partner had a work call to take. Would highly recommend staying here. Location was also great!
