The owners of this establishment are remarkably kind. Arriving at 7:45 p.m. for dinner there was no problem. The dinner was fabulous: crumbled smoked trout, chicken with vin jaune and morels (a dozen beautiful morels on each plate) prepared by a former chef from the Jura, cheese, dessert, all for €28 per person. we enjoyed ourselves. The very large room decorated in medieval style, impeccably clean with a large bed. Excellent, more than plentiful breakfast. I can only recommend this guest house on the banks of the Burgundy canal even if you need a GPS to find it.

Gorgeous place. The room we occupied named "authentic" huge and beautifully decorated. The owners of this timeless place, Corinne and Olivier are adorable. It is he who works in the kitchen, his cuisine is delicious. a special mention for "Cambouis", the adorable tomcat of the place.

💁♀️ Accueil très chaleureux de Corinne, attentive et souriante dès notre arrivée. 🍽️ Dîner succulent préparé par Olivier, avec des produits frais, du goût, et beaucoup de générosité. 👁️ Le cadre est authentique et paisible, situé juste sous le château, idéal pour une escapade hors du temps. 🛌 La chambre des Montagnards est vaste, propre, bien décorée, avec une belle vue sur la nature environnante. 👨🏫 Sur demande, Olivier propose une visite rare et émouvante de l’école communale : figée dans son état de 1946, avec ses bancs, ses encriers, les cartes de géographie, le poêle à charbon et les manuels d’époque… Tout y est, comme si les élèves venaient à peine de sortir. Un petit trésor patrimonial plein d’âme, à deux pas du cottage. ⚠️ Simple remarque: la chambre des Montagnards, bien qu’accueillante, n’est pas adaptée aux personnes à mobilité réduite : accès par un escalier et chambre en mezzanine.

Tout est parfait, accueil, chambre, repas, petit-déjeuner. Nos hôtes Corine et Olivier sont très accueillants. Olivier nous a proposé un excellent repas et le lendemain, la visite de la vieille école du village. Nous avons partagé de très bons moments.
