The room smells musty. In our opinion the bed was very hard, the pillows were bad. The air conditioning was quite loud. The receptionists were only partially friendly. The worst thing was that,if you have a tattoo you are strictly forbidden from using the wellness area and you have to pay extra. So what? It's 2024. The highlight was that, there is a Lawson in the hotel.

Easily accessible and close to the seawall. They have nice open areas and the food was great and presented really neat. Did not stay at the hostel, so wouldn’t be able to really review it! Recommend for breakfast and brunch!
El Sol Town Okinawa

There is Rosen at the back of the hotel, so shopping is fairly convenient. On the day we stayed on the first floor, although the law and order in Japan was pretty good, there were many foreigners living nearby, and there was no sense of security.

My three-nite stay was amazing! The room was very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities of a luxury hotel, all with a beautiful ocean view. Along with the breakfast which was included in my plan, they had afternoon tea service, which I unfortunately missed, and the happy hour was a wonderful surprise. The red and white wine selections were splendid, along with the yummy appetizers. To top it off, the friendly, hotel staff was excellent, especially Ms. Rodriguez who is bilingual and a true asset to this beautiful hotel.

Our whole family is very satisfied with this apartment hotel. Location & Environment: It’s right near the American Village, only about a 10-minute walk away. The surrounding life functions are also very good. Various restaurants are only a 5-10 minute walk away from the residence, and a FamilyMart convenience store is only a 3-minute walk away. That's all, and the restaurant chain ”Adachiya” with good reviews is right downstairs. I thought it would be a bit noisy in a popular area with a store downstairs, but because there are residential areas nearby, it's quite quiet. Layout & equipment: It fully meets the needs of a family. The layout is a living room, L-shaped sofa, four double beds (2 in the living room, 2 in the room), tatami area, two bathrooms, kitchen, large balcony, especially the tatami area. Children love to play there. In addition to basic equipment, there are also washing machines, dryers, and four-layer refrigerators. The kitchenware is also from well-known German brands. It feels like moving my home to Okinawa, even better than my own home. 😂 Public facilities and services: There is an exclusive parking lot outside the apartment. You will know where to park after checking in. There is also a bar and swimming pool on the top floor. As for the service, because the entire process is unmanned, check in and out are required. I think the operation is quite easy through the tablet computer in the lobby, so this will not affect my impression of the hotel. In summary, except for the fact that no one is managing, which may affect the timeliness of tenants' current problems being solved, all other aspects are very suitable for small groups of friends or families to live there.
DoubleTree by Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort

We stayed for one night at DoubleTree by Hilton. Upon check-in, we were welcomed by the signature DoubleTree chocolate cookie. It was declious but unforunately, not really warm. We booked a terrace room with sea view and it was large and very comfortable. The package we booked came with a 90-minute buffet dinner at Hilton Hotel, which was scrumptious and we got to try many signature Okinawan dishes. As a DoubeTree guest, we could only use the facilities in Hilton and we joint their sunset yoga class. The instructor was very friendly. It was conducted in Japanese, but body language matters the most in terms of sprots. Believe it or not? It was my first time trying yoga and the experience was pleasant in general. We also tried their buffet breakfast. The range of selection for food was wide and I recalled that they even had soft serve. The quality was good and worth trying. There was also a Lawson convenience store around the corner and the hotel was very conveniently to the seaside. If I have to pick on one thing about the hotel, I hope that there will be more activities for hotel guests to join and there could be counters selling desserts like sliced cakes for hotel guests :-) All in all, I really enjoyed my stay at DoubleTree and will definitely join again!
