Ibis Lyon Sud Chasse-Sur-Rhône

We came to this hotel with a group of friends as part of a bigger motorbike traveller group of around 80 px. The reception was friendly and well organised, so we didn’t have any imagination of what would come next. The room was functional with just an average cleanliness, but definitely the renovation or at least a fresh-up was delayed by some years. The terrace bar service was poor, despite the friendly staff that tried its best. The ultimate negative experience was the dinner that was served for the group. I never had something worse; the selection of food, the presentation and unfortunately also the taste were simply disgusting. 80% of the whole group returned the biggest part of their dish, drink serious was badly managed, almost not existing. Luckily I was one of those, who decided to skip breakfast completely. Whose who had it, reported about a shocking experience. Not even the coffee was in the range of being drinkable.
