Don’t believe the pictures of this recently refurbished hotel and beware of smokers in nearby rooms - we thought smoking was not allowed in any hotel room! All in all a most disappointing overnight stay here!

Good as long as everyone is quiet
Great location, nice hotel unless you want to sleep, at least when there is a party going on. Walls are very thin. Carryover from a wedding party was noisy well past 3 in the morning. We asked to move to a different room but they said they would handle it. Normal talking in adjacent room comes right through the walls.
Bathroom was a bit small and parking was quite limited. They directed us to a local public parking garage which worked fine.
View of the cathedral was awesome.

Right in the centre of Chartres which is beautiful, we booked to stay on 29th December, everything in the hotel was closed, no restaurant open, no food available, no bar, nothing! So not really a hotel then? Our room was very small but very clean, bathroom was lovely. The hospitality tray contained 2 tea bags, 2 satchels of coffee and 2 satchels of sugar, NO milk, NO teaspooons. Very poor considering with parking we paid over €115. The breakfast the next morning was served in the restaurant which is quite stunning, the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Hopefully if we stay again the hotel will function as a hotel with services open

Friendly service and nicely furnished. The comfortable and large patio in front makes for a great entrance. Our room was really nice, maybe a little small and the shower was small but we had prepaid on a special rate. There are variations on the rooms, I am sure. The restaurant exceeded our expectations and it was great to eat right at the hotel after a long day of touring around.

Very pleasant stay in this excellent hotel. Service extremely good and all very comfortable. Lovely bar area and restaurant and very centrally located. Only criticism is there’s no air conditioning

The hotel is well situated close to the Cathedral, the room was clean and comfortable, but on the small side, and with no air conditioning. A closed garage is available nearby, the parking cannot be prebooked but there was a reasonable number of spaces. The staff member at the desk spoke good English and was very helpful. The restaurant was excellent, with a good selection of well priced food and wine. We would certainly stay and eat there again if in Chartres.

A friendly hotel, comfortable beds, decent breakfast. Everything we looked for in a hotel, on the first night of our holiday, this hotel provided. The car park was really good - especially as it was high enough to take our car and its roof box. Our dogs also enjoyed their stay!

The restaurant snd bar area were well appointed, but our room left a lot to be desired. It was clean, but I wouldn’t put kids on the rug, that didn’t come off as being clean. Smallest shower in the world. Tough for a big guy. Same with the lift, one person one suitcase. Parking was a real pain, and no area designated to drop off bags or easy parking. Get what you pay for.
