This is a good hotel in a good location in a beautiful city. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room was fine as was the breakfast.

Our 3rd visit to this hotel and we hope to be back in 2026. It is very central, just a short walk from the Place des Épars and onward to the chic shopping streets and the cathedral. On site car parking (payable, needs reserving) is available - satnav is recommended to get to the hotel. Rooms are quiet and well appointed and very affordable for such a location. Reception is always warm and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent, with a good choice and really excellent bread, pastries, jams (home made) and butter, etc. Sadly we have always been at the weekend when the restaurant is closed, but there are many alternatives.

I have stayed at l'hotel in Chartres several times, it's alway good, plain, simple, clean, tidy, good attentive service and parking available. The rooms are clean and tidy the reception, welcome and service are as good as it gets. 5 minute walk into town where there are LOTS of bars and restaurants, good breakfast. If in Chartres they l'hotel Top tip book direct same terms as websites and less cost Pre book parking spaces are limited

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Used the hotel whilst cycling on Veloscenic. Able to store and charge bikes in ground floor room. Very kindly gave us cable tied to solve a bike problem and let us keep room till 1pm so we could explore town on foot before we left. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Gluten free bread available. Chartres is,a beautiful old city to visit. Hotel 5 mins walk from shopping/ restaurant area. Patisserie across the road and small supermarket on same block- handy for drinks.

This is a traditional, typical Logis hotel, well-located, friendly staff, clean, neat, simple. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom newly renovated, w superb instant hot water and a great shower stall. Be sure to book ahead for hotel parking as it seems limited, but there is good public underground parking just a hundred metres away. The breakfast room is neat and spacious, w a nice outdoor patio. A good selection of food, good juice and coffee, only the croissants really need to be improved!! Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel, qui est affiché comme un trois étoiles. Points positifs: hôtel très bien situé, le centre ville est très proche; très bonne literie; le personnel est aimable et accueillant. La chambre est propre. Possibilité de réserver un parking pour 10€ la journée. Points négatifs: les parties communes de l'hôtel mériteraient d'être rénovées, les moquettes au sol et dans l'ascenseur sont vieillissantes et il manque clairement d'aération, on sent une odeur de renfermé. La climatisation dans la chambre est bruyante et peu efficace. Il faudrait également pouvoir bloquer la lumière dans l'entrée de la chambre car elle se déclenche automatiquement ou alors mettre une porte coulissante pour séparer la chambre de l'entrée. Par ailleurs il est compliqué d'obtenir le noir complet dans la chambre car pas de volets mais un rideau occultant et de la lumière toute la nuit dans la cour. Nous avons eu également un problème d'eau chaude, chaudière en panne et donc pas d'eau chaude... peut-être également une chaudière vieillissante? A noter toutefois le geste commercial par les propriétaires, les petits-déjeuners nous ont été remboursés pour le désagrément. En résumé, l'hôtel n'est pas au niveau d'un 3 étoiles comme on le pensait, donc forcément on en ressort déçu.
