Rooms were fine, reception helpful but awful service in the restaurant. No initial drink order offered then made to wait ages to order food. Then only half of two main courses arrived. After promises of 'just two minutes', the rest arrived about 20 minutes later by which time the meals had gone cold. Surprising as the french prize so highly the dining experience. It was not just us though we noticed another table waiting an extremely long time to order. And what is more disappointing is that the food itself was very good. Such a shame that the poor service let the restaurant down and let the hotel down.

Executive room clean and well equipped (apart from broken safe) but dinner ruined by roaming dogs sniffing around our feet in the restaurant. No segregation of dogs to one area. Service variable, Accor seem to be struggling to get staff like everyone else. Parking good, location by A11 motorway very convenient. No-one seems to know what the express breakfast is. The Accor restaurant menu seems universal across their properties and after a few stays the choice is exhausted. A good place to stay to visit Chartres as the bus stop to the centre is just outside the property.

Really impressive Novotel with a great bar and restaurant. This was one night stopover after arriving in Paris from Australia. Wasn’t expecting much and the location didn’t appeal but once closer and inside it was a standout quality Novotel. Would recommend if wanting a night outside of Paris before and after travelling.

Just a dull average hotel. The bar and restaurant area was being refurbished, so not what one would hope got after a long drive. Food though was quite pleasant. Breakfast poor, run out of various items and slow to replenish. Beduncomfortable, room really freaky, but clean. Only two little tiny milks for coffee in the room, and only two instant coffee things, really very mean considering the cost which was approaching 170 euros for the one night. Staff ok, sort of helpful. Just really poor value.

We used this as an overnight stop and the service is disgusting. We had eaten a heavy lunch earlier in the day so requested some bar food. We were given a bar menu and decided on two croque monsieur. Even though they had given us the bar menu they then refused to serve us food in the bar and insisted that we go in the restaurant saying we could order it in there. On going into the restaurant we were told that bar food was unavailable in the restaurant. We had experience of the restaurant menu the previous night in the Novotel Narbonne, the menu is limited and does not cater for small meals. The staff did nothing to assist with providing some light food and appeared to not really care about it.Two French gentlemen who were at the hotel for business purposes and had overheard our conversations with the staff advised us not to eat in the hotel saying it was terrible. There was no manager on the premises only inexperienced reception staff and rude bar and restaurant staff. At the bar we had a Coke and a bottle of water, my wife was offered a plastic glass for her water and had to ask for a glass one. The person who served her just raised their eyes and slammed a glass down on the bar. This person turned out to be the restaurant manager. We are now sat in our room with no food as they refuse to provide room service which I thought was a requirement for a 4 star Hotel. The room is hot and humid as they have turned the air conditioning off. I have booked breakfast in the morning but now we do not wish to eat here so it will be interesting to see if they try to charge us for breakfast! Take our advice and don't stay here, 4 star hotel and 1 star service.

Stayed here many times en route to/from Spain. Accessible room and parking fine. We never want to eat anything elaborate late in the evening after a long drive and the basic omelette or hamburger choices suited us fine. Unfortunately, unlike other Novotels we've visited lately these options are no longer available. Pleasingly when we asked for omelettes the kitchen was able to oblige, but we feel we can't rely on this and travelled by a different route on the return journey.

The hotel is easy to find, it has a large secure car park. Rooms are clean and well set out with a good size bathroom. Nice breakfast with plenty on offer for all, the staff at breakfast were really friendly. Service at the bar is somewhat disappointing as on both occasions that we stayed on this trip we were left waiting for around 10 minutes before someone appeared to serve us.

My husband and i were looking forward to staying at the Novotel as we had planned to stay in 2020 and couldn't travel, there was plenty of free car parking and the lady on reception was very nice and efficient but that was the best of it. The room was nice enough but a separate toilet was unusual, there was only enough coffee etc for one drink in a paper cup. The shower plug hole was blocked and started to overflow the tray so could only have a very brief shower in the morning. TV was good but only CNN in English. We decided to eat in the restaurant after going into the town centre on the bus as it was too far to walk, and we were very disappointed with the quality of the food and the service, quite expensive and we were asked if we wanted the desert menu but waited until we realized we weren't going to get it and left. Breakfast was ok but also disappointing. Check out was good. It's probably a good choice for a stopover as just off the motorway but unless you go into the centre there isn't much choice for dinner.
