Midtown Guesthouse is in the center of the town, as the name goes. Hop step and a jump to the transportations, restaurants and the dock side waters. Beaches are not far either. Very clean, comfortable and value for the dollar. Left side green mountains and right side the sea. Mr. Rudy, the owner is a thorough professional and attends to the needs of the lodgers. I wish the couple at the front desk were half so helpful! I would recommend this hotel any day to enjoy St. Thomas.

The guesthouse was the perfect choice for us - friendly people, comfortable accomodations and reasonably priced. It is conveniently located within (more or less flat) walking distance of all the essentials for our last few days in St Thomas.

Midtown Guesthouse is where you go for an eclectic and authentic taste of the island. As a nomad, I am in love with people, culture, and the everyday rigmarole that makes people different from myself and unique in their own way. That is the exact experience Midtown Guesthouse provides. This place has a deeply rich history, houses some of humanity’s most genuine people, and simply helps one have an experience of appreciation for what life is truly about. A mainstay in the community for nearly half a century, Midtown is where I will gladly spend my hard earned money for future visits. Not just for the hospitality, not even solely for the unique and delicious menu options, but simply because it’s a place to quiet and ween the soul in the safety and presence of genuine friends. This is my place.

It was our first time flying overseas and we didn’t know what to expect. The staff was very friendly and patient. The rooms, lobby and hallways were clean and smelled good. The guest house was within walking distance of Main Street and the waterfront. $1 public safari transportation was also within waking distance. I/ we would definitely book again! We stayed for three days which wasn’t nearly enough time to explore as much as we wanted but staying at the Midtown Guesthouse definitely made it affordable for us to do more during our stay. It really is in the middle of it all!!!!

The location was perfect! Many of the popular eateries were within minutes of walking. If your looking for glitz and glamour, keep it moving. If your into a quaint, historical, garden like vibe then this is it. The property was well kept. Every area of this place was clean. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. I was super needy:) Iron, scissors, taxi, etc. and they were more than happy to readily assist. Hopefully, upon my next return the new café will be open. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a very convenient, pleasant place to stay in the heart of the harbor. Staff go over the top to make sure you have what you need. Walking distance to everything in town. I suggest getting a room with 2 beds. Rich N

I'm so happy I found this place! Affordable, clean, and the friendliest staff ever. They work hard to make you comfortable and happy. The location of the guest house is perfect, rstaurants, bakeries, shops, waterfront, beaches - everything is either within walking distance or a short $1 ride on the Safari Bus away. I would definitely stay there again!
