We stopped in Charleville-Mezieres on our way from Burgundy to Paris and spent the night at this little boutique hotel. Unique and fresh decor. It was such a pleasant surprise and quite affordable. The owner, along with the the director of the hotel, greeted us and made our stay very comfortable. Their partnership with a local caterer made for an excellent dinner and breakfast. Good location to walk to places of interest. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel has so much potential. Attention has obviously been paid to the decor. But it disappoints on facilities and staff attitude. There is no fridge in the room and the hotel bar seems to be closed from 8pm. Don't dare make any noise, like talking or laughing when the female manager is present or you will be scolded like a child and told to respect the other guests, while she herself has absolutely no respect for the guests in the first place. If you ar looking for a hotel with a warm welcome and a smile, please avoid. The sad thing is that the male who checked us in was incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome, but that changed abruptly.

Malgré nos tentatives de parler à la Directrice pour évoquer les soucis rencontrés (mais elle a refusé de nous parler et de nous rencontrer), malgré le mail que je lui ai envoyé en pensant qu'il était préférable d'échanger "en tête à tête" au lieu de s'épandre sur les réseaux sociaux, force est de constater que cet hôtel est livré à lui-même, avec une dirigeante qui se cache à distance et laisse ses collaborateurs/trices affronter seul(e)s les clients car depuis dimanche nous n'avons eu aucun retour, appel, message pour échanger sur les problèmes rencontrés) - ticket de parking fourni par l'hôtel et payé à l'hôtel ne fonctionnant pas ("on n'a pas à gérer les problèmes de ce parking, ce n'est pas le notre, appelez-les à la borne") - Chambre bruyante (éviter la chambre 2.5, au-dessus de l'accueil, très mal insonorisée (on entend la TV du RDC et toutes les discussions de l'accueil) - "vous voulez que je coupe la TV ?" - couette tout juste de la largeur du lit (donc 2 adultes ne sont pas couverts) - voir photo - "on ne peut rien faire" - serviettes de bain posées devant la baignoire pour être changées mais non changées et remises sur le crochet (!) - carafes d'eau reprises lorsque les chambres sont faites mais pas de remplacement effectué (nous avons dû le demander 2 jours de suite) - Matelas (ou sommier) creusé au centre (chambre 2.5) En lisant les commentaires, nous avons constaté que la Directrice répond systématiquement en les accusant de mauvaise foi, de subjectivité, de non respect du règlement... Dans la globalité du séjour tout s'est pourtant correctement déroulé mais c'est une succession de détails et d'insatisfactions sans autre solution proposée que "nous ne pouvons rien faire" et en l'absence totale d'un responsable qui nous rend insatisfaits et mécontents de notre séjour. Il aurait été (à mon sens) plus bénéfique de tenir compte de nos soucis en prenant au moins la peine de nous parler, car nous pouvons comprendre qu'il peut y avoir des problèmes mais le comportement qui consiste à tout remettre sur le dos des clients et à fuir ses responsabilités nous a, j'avoue, vraiment irrités. Je me doute que la réponse (si réponse il y a) sera un rejet total de nos problèmes, une accusation de mauvaise foi, d'agressivité, ou je ne sais quelle pirouette couarde.... En revanche, expérience hyper positive au restaurant ! Le jeune homme (encore une fois joyeux anniversaire !) et la chef ont parfaitement orchestré notre diner, y compris les contraintes vegan de 2 d'entre nous (nous étions 4). Excellent diner et service parfait.

Quelle heureuse surprise de découvrir cet hôtel conçu comme un cocon d’un confort et d’une modernité déconcertante Nous sommes arrivés le vendredi vers 16h. Accueil plus que chaleureux et on nous accompagnait jusqu’à la chambre Très belle chambre spacieuse, d’une propreté irréprochable Literie neuve et très confortable Couleur douce et appairante. L’hôtel possède une jolie cour bien aménagée, fauteuil confortable pour siroter un cocktail au calme Déco originale de baignoires plantées de plantes et aromates On s’y sent bien et je vous conseille particulièrement le restaurant où nous sommes allés deux soirs de suite Cuisine saine, produits frais et sublimés bravo à la cheffe Nous sommes repartis le dimanche matin ravis de notre séjour et j’espère que nous reviendrons dans ce très bel endroit

Superbe hôtel, les chambres sont très confortable, juste à côté de la gare et proche du centre-ville, j'ai apprécié aussi sont bar et le petit-déjeuner car ils travaillent avec des producteurs locaux, lait de ferme, yahourt ardennais etc... Merci aux personnels de leur accueil. Et je reviendrai avec plaisir.
