Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston, Autograph Collection

The customer service here was horrendous and has literally cost me thousands of dollars. I am and have been a Marriott Titanium Elite member for many years and have not had this experience before at a Marriott property. The valet damaged my car (which we were in the process of selling but now it is worth much less). It has very deep scratches in the back wheel molding. It is too deep to have gone unnoticed so there is a driver on the valet team that intentionally hid this from us. I contacted the hotel with pictures but they just point to the fine print that it is my responsibility to inspect the vehicle. When we drove away they backed it in and stood in front of that wheel so I did not see it. Based on the pictures it looks lie it was driven into a low concrete wall or something like that. The dishonesty of the valet staff is completely unacceptable and I would recommend that you stay somewhere else in Charleston. There are lots of other options (there is another Marriott property on this same street if you like the location).

One of the nicest and friendliest hotels we have ever stayed in and only for one night! Wish we could have stayed longer. We wanted to stay close to our friends who also were staying for one night as we were both traveling on to Florida the next day. From the staff who helped us with our truck/luggage to checking in and our room. Everyone went out of their way to make it a smooth transition. The place was beautiful, gorgeous art work everywhere. Our room was tastefully decorated, the bathroom was so luxurious! It was such a pleasure.

One of the quietest rooms I’ve stayed in recent memory, and I travel weekly on business. Staff is friendly, competent and professional. Lovely appointed details in rooms and throughout the hotel. Focus on artists and wine blending. Fun, boutique feel in center of town. Would return without hesitation.

Bryce at Valet was awesome! Remembered exactly what car I drove and retrieved my key in a timely manner! I loved their positive & fun vibe! The experience at the hotel was incredible from the fun art to the yummy restaurateur at the rooftop! We will definitely be back!

* rooms not ready for Ambassador Members at 4:00 pm * wine and beer only at the downstairs bar *hostess at the rooftop has had zero training ( extremely rude ) *brunch menu rooftop has no eggs, no bacon. ( the menu is a mess ) *valets were the highlight, my guess is they are outsourced

Room was beautiful! Staff were wonderful! Restaurants were excellent ! All went above & beyond to make our stay perfect! Tommy & Taylor were excellent bartenders at Eleve! I’m glad they had an excellent valet staff, too! Can’t wait to come back to our new destination in Charleston!
