The best hotel in Charleston Illinois.

The room amenities were fine but the bed and pillows were rock hard. The pillows were literally flat. I stayed several nights and left with a backache and neck pain. The wall decor was all beat up and chipped. It definitely needs a facelift inside the rooms. It was very clean outside and the desk staff was friendly and helpful. I didn’t eat in the restaurant but it looked nice and the menu was good. Sadly, I wouldn’t stay here again except for maybe one night.

I liked the convenient it was safe and when our family ordered food from one of the restaurants the staff assured us that the restaurant was very good and she did not lie the food was excellent very hot when it was delivered nice hotel for someone visiting family for a few days

It’s an older facility. Even their ‘updated’ rooms are older. But, it’s clean, safe, staff is awesome, bar and restaurant are nice, outdoor sitting area is awesome. I’ve stayed twice. Will stay there again.

It was pleasantly appointed. Rooms were nothing fancy. There was an empty soda can on the Tv shelf when we arrived but the room had been cooled for our arrival. It was clean overall but my nose detected dust. Either from the carpet or the lampshades. The main facility was not bad. With a restaurant and pleassant hang out spots around the place. Breakfast was a little dismal in terms of variety. Three cereals, biscuits amd gravy, eggs and bacon. Slelection of hot beverage, milk and yogurt. The gravy had almost solidified at 7am when we were there. Check in receptionist was pleasant and friendly. Welcoming.

Older remodeled hotel but clean and comfy at an excellent rate. Convenient for attending college events. We have stayed numerous times and never any problems.
