Hotels Near Bath Racecourse in Charlcombe

I was surprised to have booked an authentic British-style hotel with a history of more than 200 years. Clean, tidy, bright and elegant, the quilt is warm and the heating is sufficient. I ordered breakfast included. Breakfast is very formally ordered from the menu. It is worth more than 20 pounds and is very delicious. I think the price/performance ratio is high. The hotel is very close to the Royal Crescent, but there is a long slope. It is a bit difficult to carry suitcases with you. It is good if you have a car.

The location of the hotel is very good, just inside the Crescent Building, we ordered room delivery on the day, the room service was good & # 128077; but there was no Chinese courtesy in the promotion: the kettle in the room was a phone call and the waiter delivered it In the past, the so-called Chinese logo was also limited to no smoking and no Chinese facilities list. We called our front desk without a Wi-Fi signal before changing our room, and our check-in experience on the day was not good. : Because it rained, we arrived a little earlier (hotel check-in was at 3 pm) and had been waiting in the lobby for nearly two hours before proper check-in was made. Check-in took place during the period when seven or eight foreign tourists arrived. During the check-in process for them, I was puzzled. I went to the front desk twice to ask. Their answers were different rooms for the guests and us. Their room types were taken care of, and our room was not good. It was a coincidence. That day, so many batches of tourists were so lucky that none of them stayed in our room type. We also encountered bad conditions when we arrived early when traveling abroad, but the hotel Let ’s wait a bit, and deal with it as soon as possible, so that guests can check in as soon as possible (except for the large resort hotel where there are many guests, the cleaners are too busy, and it may not be possible to check in early). This is an absolutely lovely hotel with beautifully appointed rooms, lush lounges, a bar, courtyard, restaurant, and a welcoming staff. There is plenty of space in each room and the bathrooms are pristine. However, in one of our two rooms we were only able to get hot water in the tub, but not the shower. Also, this hotel is at the top of the hill overlooking Bath and all of the shops the museums were down toward the bottom so getting from place to place was a challenge. One of our party has some physical limitations and could not walk easily up and down the cobblestoned streets. Additionally, we were there in July and the rooms are not air conditioned. The hotel will bring a fan on request, but without ice or refigerators, the little air the fan provided didn't always allow for a comfortable night's rest.

I had planned a trip to Bath with the purpose of proposing to my now fiancée. Once booking our stay here I notified the Host, Richard of my intentions and he couldn’t have been more helpful. He helped provide flowers, balloons and even a bottle of Prosecco for us to come back to after proposing. Such a beautiful and well cared for building. With such rich and beautiful history. Richard gave us great advice and knowledge of the building and surrounding areas we were planning on visiting. I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. Richard and his beautiful Villa made it an experience we will never forget. Thank you for everything.
