Spacious room with every comfort. Perfect breakfast with large choice of sweet and savory items. Welcoming staff available 24 hours a day. Swimming pool, sauna and hammam available for residents. Numerous massages and treatments available. Green park. Restaurant listed in the Michelin guide.

Not a 5 star hotel at all. Needs full renovation and upgrade of furniture and decoration in general. Room was spacious however smelly and bathroom full of mildew in the shower area. Bed was comfortable and coffee maker in the room was ok. Overall not a good price for money. Breakfast was horrible and the decor in the dinning room was horrible. Buffet was dirty and not organized at all.

Due to a breakdown of the Hot Water Facilities, there was only Cold Water in the whole hotel. As a compensation staff offered us a free breakfast. The rest was excellent - perfect. Construction- works right in front of the hotel, but no noise or other disturbances inside.

At a guess, we have stayed at this Hotel 8-10 times over the past years. I am sorry to say that after our last experience, we will never stay there again. As a 5 Star Hotel, it was slipshod and dissappointing. On arrival, at 16.45 there was nobody on the Reception Desk, but there was a sign which said " There is nobody on Reception at present, please take a seat and wait ! There is still construction works going on at the adjacent ****** and there are now only 4 parking spaces for guests. which includes one for disabled and one for electric car charging. The only parking is an unattended open car park some 800 metres from the Hotel and I was not prepared to leave a £200,000 car loaded with luggage, laptops, phones and personal items there. The Receptionist agreed that I could occupy a disabled person's bay on the proviso that he could move it if required. The suite on the mezzanine floor was fine apart from the following;_ - Only 5 TV channels none English. - No Notepad or pen. - No list of Telephone numbers to call reception or room service. - Ony 2 towels for 3 persons, when charged extra for 16 year old granddaughter to stay in the suite. Same for Glasses, cups, Tea bags milk. Just 2 for 3 persons. - The Wifi was awful and kept logging you off. Later found out that you could log in using any old name name and email address you cared to enter ! _ One Loo roll ,part used and no spare. - A Huge Stag Beetle was discovered on the sofa and at that point we had not opened the doors to the balcony. We were aware that the main Restaurant would be closed on the Tuesday that we arrived ,but shortly before we left England I received an email that room service would not be available either but we could have a cold meal in our room.Oh well onwards and upwards ! The cold meal turned out to be a choice between smoked salmon, cheese or cold meats each served with bread and butter. No desserts, not even Ice cream. Anyway, we opted for 2 salmon and 1 cheese. After a long wait, the receptionist knocked on the door with the salmon and cheese and a basket of bread which he had himself prepared and it comprised a single baguette cut up into slices and 3 pats of butter. The salmon was just as if it has come out of a packet and there were 6 miserable slices of 3 different cheeses. The cost for this gastronomic extravaganza was €127.00 which included Room service and a warm bottle of white wine( No Ice bucket either). Total cost for a nights stopover with breakfast with hard sausage and rubber bacon was €603.60. Sorry Pavillon, don't expect to see me again.

This hotel claims to be 5 star, it is one of the worst I have ever stayed in. It claims to have a Michelin star restaurant, but it was closed on the Tuesday night that we stayed. No alternative food was offered, just room service of cold salmon. The front desk were unhelpful, they could not recommend anywhere in the local village, luckily we found a superb Italian ourselves.the Wi-Fi is slow and continually drops out, the air conditioning didn’t work, the room was dirty (see photos). The car park is more than 400 metres away, all this for €250 a night, abysmal, no wonder the hotel was empty, we had traveled up from a 5 Star Hotel in St Tropez and we were horrified with this hotel, it’s total lack of customer service and it’s unfriendly feel. Only half the electric sockets work in the room, next door is a loud train, they give you earplugs !! And then building work wakes you up at 7.30am. It gets even worse, in the morning no breakfast on display, we are told we can only have items from room service menu as no one else stopping. At this point we got up and left, hungry and very distressed, I blame the hotel management, you should have closed the hotel and also ***********, you should have been made aware. This has to be the worst hotel experience in my 59 year life, guessing being British didn’t help.

Adjusting our service and behaviour depending on the nationality of our guests is a narrow minded suggestion that would not cross our mind. All the technical issues you have mentionned in your comments have been checked out and confirmed in working order. We do have a car park a mere 150 m away, Your car was nevertheless parked and unloaded by our staff just outside our front door. All our windows are double glazed, a local train does run every 30 mins , the latest one leaving at 8.30 pm. It does not usually affect our customers. Full a la carte breakfast was offered to all our guests that morning without any restriction on choice or quantity. Kind regards

We arrived at 16:00 and told restaurant / kitchen. Just a three staff running around trying to manage the whole hotel. We had to press for room service. Hardly any outdoor space, No hospitality. This is a three star hotel priced as a 4/5 star hotel. The bed was very good quality

The hotel itself is excellent, but infront of the Hotel, a very large extension to the ****** is still underway and it is not a pretty sight. Apart from that, we stayed in rooms on the mezzanine floor, which before this visit, I had no idea they even existed. Normally we have a suite on the first or second floor which overlooks the front of the building and the building works. This time we had rooms on the mezzanine floor, which is one floor down from reception. These rooms have just undergone a complete renovation with all new decoration and furniture and fittings. The rooms are really stylish, and overlook the rear gardens, which again I was unaware existed. There are nice side walks along the gardens which are ideal for exercising your dog ,If you happen to have one, as we did. The restaurant has a totally confusing menu and there is little choice other than having a full blown meal of the chef's choosing and there seems to be only two real options at €99 or €132. We opted for the cheaper one, and if you like an arty farty selection of weird things it will probably suit you. The wine list is limited and we settled on a average Burgundy at €50, making the whole meal €254 which was a bit strong for what we actually had. If you are only staying as a stop over, I would suggest giving the restaurant a miss and have room service. For a stopover, the final bill came to €668.60 which included €60 for two dogs, tax and a pre dinner drink.We skipped breakfast as we made an early start but this would have added another €26 per person. This was about our 10th visit over the years. Would I go back ? Yes, as overall it is excellent

The Spa , Swimming Pool and Fitness area is opening to late. At 10.00 h ! This is not acceptable vor a Spa-Hotel. Many people are swimming and do fitness before breakfast ! The restaurant was completely closed! No dinner possible - only room-service.

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. We stayed in one of the larger rooms - it was huge and was extremely comfortable for the three of us. The hotel is also immaculately clean and the staff are very helpful. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but we had room service, which was very good.

The reception was good, friendly and ready to help for a French speaking city. Breakfast was very nice. The food fresh and of good quality. The only down side for a 5* was lack of concierge and room service was found wanting. Great rooms but not warm enough to beat the winter cold.

The room and spa facilities were excellent. Nice environment. Bar and restaurant facilities were not always accessible for hotel clients due to private parties. That is somewhat annoying. Hotel guests should have priority.

TRES BELLE ETABLISSEMENT CONFORTABLE, Chambre superbe, personnel trés serviable,trés belle environement, beau spas, dommage parking exterieur et non gardé de l'hotel,petit déjeuner correct sans plus pour un 5 étoiles.
