We stayed 2 nights in this lovely little family run hotel. Super clean, updated rooms with a comfortable bed with beautiful linens and interesting that our 4 pillows were 2 firm, 2 feather. They offer a very good breakfast, friendly and accommodating staff and a perfect location to walk to everything Chapala has to offer. We'll stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Good location near the malecon. Staff helpful, too. We ended up parking our rental car on the street in front but they do have a parking lot, too. We ate at a local restaurant up the street. It was just okay but seemed popular, maybe we order the wrong dishes?

We drove up from Puerto Vallarta for a weekend getaway. We loved the location of this hotel. It had a great vibe as well as the superb service. It looks brand new although I think it has been opened for a few years. Beautifully decorated. The staff is awesome. We always took cabs, so they ordered taxi's for us each night. They are knowledgeable as to great restaurants in the area. I actually like Chapala better than Ajiji. Also, a great breakfast menu, that is included in your stay. Great place. Great value.

I love this hotel. I have stayed 2 times. Once in Jan 2021 and just this last Jan 28-Feb 2. The hotel is charming, immaculate and well taken care of. They also include a very good breakfast. The staff are helpful and accommodating and very kind as well. I also love the location with it being a 1 minute walk to the malacon and beautiful Lake Chapala. I visit my friend every year who is a snowbird in Chapala so I look forward to staying at this hotel for many years to come.

I reviewed an airbnb in Chapala the other day but it was nothing compared to this magnificent place. Chapala Plaza Hotel is a definite “must do” if you’re in Chapala or Ajijic. Our room reminded me of one of the historic hotels in Italy or France. The room came with Netflix, internet, Amazon Prime etc and the free breakfast was a wonderful combination of fresh fruit (papaya, cantelope), bacon and eggs, toast, fabulous coffee and more. You can eat in the beautiful outdoor courtyard or the inside restaurant. Its located right at the main intersection in Chapala, where all the shopping and beach activities are. Truly a memorable treat.
