It takes about 40 minutes to drive from Raoping, and the road along the way is particularly easy to drive. I have always liked the purpose of being close to nature! Very nice hotel and really very clean. Spacious room with tea lounge and fully automated bathroom. Good breakfast although not very international. As a flaw I would say: the restaurant is only open for breakfast and there is no gym. The location is excellent as the hotel is strategically positioned at the entrance of Paifang Street; practically in the center.

We had a good king-size bed. The pillows were very good; just the correct height and firmness. The mattress was firm and comfortable. The bath towels were large, fluffy and soft. The room was neat and clean. The hotel had a laundry room which provided everything you need to do your laundry and ironing and it's free! The lobby staff were young, efficient and helpful. The location of the hotel was about 10 min DiDi ride (¥13) to the tourist attractions like 广济桥与古城. Overall, we were very pleased with our 2-night stay at Atour Hotel. Thank you! Because the public transportation in Chaozhou is not very developed, it is recommended to use a shared electric car or take a taxi to travel. You can also walk along Xinqiao Road to the ancient city. There are many places to eat on the roadside, so it is recommended to walk there. Later, because the bed and bath were comfortable enough, and I wanted to eat local white porridge snacks, I stayed one more night. You can go to the Fengchun white porridge to try it, it’s delicious! By the way, the buffet breakfast provided by the hotel is simple but not simple, so get up early and eat it. Overall, it was a relatively satisfying trip.
