It is a gorgeous century old property designed in a traditional Teochew architecture. Much of the original fixtures are still intact. It was unfortunate that it rained continuously during my stay or I would have loved to have some tea in the courtyard. The bed was comfortably hard (which I liked). Hot water broke down on the second day due to a short circuit but was quickly rectified. Owner is helpful even during wee hours. While located on a quiet street, it is within minutes from the bustle. Definitely highly recommend this gem.

Hygiene: The room was very clean. We lit mosquito coils and went out. There were no mosquitoes when we stayed there at night.
Service: The service is very good. We were given a free room upgrade when we arrived. The new room is bigger and more comfortable.
Location: It is located in the ancient city, and there are many food places around, which is very convenient
Decoration: The decoration is very elegant, the small courtyard is full of flowers and plants, and there is a place to cook tea around the stove on the second floor. The decoration is very new and very hygienic.

非常好的房間，很寬敞，裝修風格是我們喜歡的，而且小院在古城區巷子裏，出行方便，房間有陽台，單邊位置，隔音很好，房間光線也很好，衞生好沒有異味，孩子很喜歡。

就在古城附近，潮州的景點也比較集中，基本住在這裏，去哪裡都可以用步行，衹是小院沒有停車位，要去附近的停車場，好在附近不止一個停車場，比較方便。
