Chaozhou Hotels with Bars

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in recently. Although it takes about 40 minutes (via Didi Car) to travel from Chaosan Station, the hotel is nicely located opposite West Lake/Park and near major tourist attractions (Kai Yuan Temple开元寺, GuangJi Tower/Wall/Bridge 广济桥), shops and eateries (Paifang Food Street牌坊街, XiNan Food Street 西南路). There are a few decent restaurants just beside the hotel too. Art Hotel Han Si XiHu lives up to its name as the hotel is beautifully decorated with art pieces, especially at the lounge area where there is a nightly Chinese string instrument (Guzheng) performance (except Tuesdays). A shoutout to the hotel staff : - the warm and helpful reception staff (Miss Chen 陈小姐 and Miss Li 李小姐） - the excellent housekeeping staff who thoughtfully supplied extra coffee bags after knowing I drink coffee - the service staff who did not just walk past me but greeted me and also introduced me to the free Chaozhou dessert (evenings only) and tea provided at the reception lounge The hotel room we booked was very spacious and the amenities were adequate and of high quality (think there isn’t a room safe but no biggie). There was even a complete tea set to make a proper cup of Chinese tea. A room air purifier and dehumidifier are provided. The bed is big and comfortable with adequate pillows. The aircon here works perfectly unlike other hotels’ useless control settings. I like the huge projector screen entertainment system except there isn’t much to offer non-Chinese guests. Soundproofing-wise, we could occasionally hear neighbouring room doors close and people talking in the corridors but it wasn’t a big issue. The shower and toilet area is large but the entire floor will become wet & slippery after a shower as there isn’t a screen to contain the spray from the shower. The hotel does provide a floor mat and bathroom slippers to prevent slipping.

This is a hotel in the middle of the ancient city. It is convenient to go anywhere. You can go out and come back at any time. It is so convenient. The hotel is clean and tidy. The lighting arrangement in the room makes people feel very comfortable. The staff is also enthusiastic and professional~

Good location, close to many eateries, room spacious and clean, comfortable bed. However, no instructions on using room TV, and service request was slow to respond. Front desk staff unable to provide information on local places to visit. Overall a nice experience.

The room is very clean, I like the decoration style, the room is also large, the service attitude of the lady at the front desk is very good, she will give suggestions and reminders to avoid lightning, the hotel has electric bicycles for rent, which is very convenient. The ancient city is very close and it only takes more than ten minutes to ride there! I will recommend friends to stay here 😀

The lobby is bright and distinctive, the room is spacious and bright, the soundproofing is good, the sleep is quiet, the mattress is soft and comfortable, the bathroom and shower room are on both sides, and the water flow is large. Go out of Hanjiang, walk 1.2 kilometers to Guangji Bridge and Han Gong Temple, take a taxi for 11 yuan to Nanmen Market, and you will reach Chaoshan Old Street and Archway Street. The front desk service is enthusiastic, answering all questions, and checking in quickly. The breakfast is rich, and there is free eight-treasure porridge and wolfberry porridge at night, which is very humane. Recommend everyone to stay in Chaoshan.

This is my second time staying at Xi'an. I spent a long time choosing a homestay in Chaozhou this time. I was worried that it would be unhygienic and not quiet if it was too close to the hotel. After 2-3 days of selection, I finally decided on Xi'an. It really deserves 10086 likes! The hygiene is very good. The front desk guy upgraded me to a goddess room and gave me a breakfast voucher. It is less than 1km away from West Lake and 1.5km away from Paifang Street. It is convenient to go anywhere. There is a small electric donkey for rent in front of the hotel! I will stay here again next time! I have recommended it to my friends!

The breakfast is rich in variety, and the freshly cooked beef offal noodle soup and freshly baked bread are superb~ I especially want to praise the location. The downtown business district is downstairs, which is super convenient for travel and shopping. I also received a small gift when I checked out. This feeling of being treated with care is really warm! I will stay here again next time~

The check-in experience was OK, but the square footage was not as large as indicated. It was just enough for three people to put their suitcases, but there was not much space to walk. The hygiene was average. The shower room was not non-slip, and slippers were even more slippery.
