La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston East at Sheldon Rd

Overall the hotel was nice and updated. The restroom was nicer than the pictures on trip.com which was a plus. The room was clean except the shower was not sufficiently cleaned. The deluxe room was spacious and the hotel staff was helpful and polite. Would stay here again.

Updated hotel with great customer service and great location did not feel insecure or anything I would stay here again! Very accommodating when asked about hair dryer and batteries for remote control. Breakfast ends at 9 am which was too early for us so did not try it because of the hours. Thanks for all!

Unsurprisingly, this hotel is magnificent and exceeded all of my expectations. The palazzo is stunning and the interiors are just what you'd want from a Renaissance palazzo. My room was a little paradise and I am so sad to leave. I stayed for a week and this hotel became a second home. The area is a short walk from the city centre but is far enough removed that it's quite tranquil. With the largest private garden in the city, it was a true oasis. The Atrium Bar and Il Palagio were a drink and food lover's dream. I sampled the tasting menu at Il Palagio and it was to die for. I waiters were brilliant. The sommelier offered the most delicious wine pairings. Highly recommend the vintage negroni for your aperitif. As you'd expect from the Four Seasons, the service was unparalleled. Everyone knew my name, what i liked to drink, coffee preferences, etc. I wanted to offer special thanks to Serena with in-room dining, as well as to Giovani and Emanuele with the breakfast service. You were all standouts and I'm so glad I got to know you a bit. The woman who did the turndown service was also a delight -- I'm sorry I don't know her name. I had a 75-minute massage with Francesca who worked miracles and the spa treatments are superb. Kristina at the spa reception was also wonderful--she gave me a lot of history about Florence and the story behind some of the Santa Maria Novella products. Much appreciated. Already planning my return. This is one of the best 4S properties in the world!

The Hotel appeared to be clean upon arrival to the lobby, however upon entering room we found hair that was left behind in shower drain and stains on the shower curtain which appeared to be blood or feces. I didn't want to get near them to see exactly what it was. The hallways were clean as well as the breakfast area. Staff was friendly but the cleanliness was subpar.

Indoor pool was nice but was not heated. There was a towel shortage and we were never given enough towels for our entire party. The breakfast was decent but did not operate during advertised hours.

The hotel has gated parking which was great for us, since we are moving from TX to another state and needed a safe place to stay
