Best Chania Spa Hotels

Your hotel was a perfect for me and my 15 yesrs old daugter. We enjoy the sea, snorkeling, walking to the nearby river bank and village. And we also saw turtles there😊. Three restraurants and all-inclusive was nice. Altough restaurants had a loud noise. Our apartment with two separete rooms and balkony with a sea and mountain view were nice. We arrived at the hotel before our check in time due to an early morning flight from Cyprus. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage behind reception until the room was available. We were given 2 free drinks vouchers to use at the bar while we waited for our room. When entering our fifth floor sea view room (505) we were amazed and delighted at the modern luxurious standard consisting of a large double bed, wardrobe with a safe, dressing table 2 comfortable armchairs, a coffee table, hairdryer and clothes steamer. Separate toilet cubicle and a very large rain water shower with all the accessories you would need during your stay which included bathrobes, slippers, shampoo etc. and weight scales which we didn't use 😁 On the work top was a coffee maker machine with pods, kettle and complimentary water, wine and soft drinks in the fridge Also on the table was a tablet with which you could view the restaurant menu and spa menu and lots of information for your convenience. The sea view from the large glass fronted balcony was absolutely stunning and breathtaking and we could see almost to the harbour. Breakfast was included in our booking and was excellent with plenty of variety from cold platters, cereals, pancakes to English style hot breakfast. Our only issue was the plates for hot food were not warmed resulting in luke warm food. We did take this up with the hotel and received an email the next day to thank us for bringing it to their attention. We enjoyed a dinner at the hotel one night which was reasonably priced and of good quality. The hotel location was a 3 minute walk to the sea front with a further 15 minute walk to the harbour and shops and restaurants. Overall this hotel was very worthy of their 4 star rating and we will be back.

Every hotel staff was smiley, friendly and helpful. We received welcome snacks snd message in the room. The room was modern with air condition, high ceiling and nice amenities. Breakfast was buffet-style as and adequate. Location is very close to many shops and restaurants but without the noise. I enjoyed the deep tissue massage at their spa. Enhancement areas suggested for Room 11: shower door does not close; the queen bed was two separate single beds put together instead of one mattress, and with separate bedcover sheets instead of one queen sized bedcover sheet; a kettle would have been useful.

The room was spacious and the hotel was super clean and extremely comfortable. Everything felt brand new and the service was really 5 star. We were happily surprised to learn that the indoor swimming pool is actually just a giant jacuzzi. We spent an hour there on our last night which was super nice. The bed is really comfortable and the place is quiet. There is a valet service for parking your car and we got welcome drinks and snacks on arrival. Thanks again for the free bottle of wine and fruit bowl as a VIP welcome gift. We really enjoyed and will come back to this hotel if we ever visit Chania again one day.

What a special little place! If you read no further, all you need to know is we are super particular and this has the highest rating of all the hotels we stayed at. Our arriving flight was delayed for just over two hours, meaning that an already late arrival became a midnight check in. We messaged the hotel just before we took off to let them know and to ask if there would be someone available to receive us. We received a message back from the hotel within 2 minutes, telling us there would absolutely be someone at reception and it was no issues, so no need to rush or stress. On (late) arrival, we were greeted by a beautiful crisp, clean and very new hotel. First impressions were very good. On arrival at the reception, the gentlemen was expecting us, knew our name and had everything ready. Knowing we had a little arduous journey, had offered to take us straight to our room, or would happily make us a drink. We decided to have a drink. As we found with all the staff, they pitched the conversation perfectly. Not intrusive, but interested and always incredibly happy and smiling. We arrived in our room. We booked the Ambassador room with sea view. It was special in every way. New, crisp, well decorated, smelling amazing. A wonderful view over Chania. We realised we had also been gifted a lovely bottle of fizz, so sat and enjoyed the wonderful view. Breakfast is served in the room. Just call in the morning when ready and it is brought to you. It, like everything about this hotel was very very good. Fresh, great selection and lots of it! We treated ourselves to two spa treatments. These were excellent, professional and very relaxing. We found the price to be very reasonable, especially considering the professionalism and quality. The main event at this hotel is the staff. They are very lovely people. We have never stayed at a hotel where we had been made to feel so welcome and not just a guest. Every interaction, from reception to maids, from bar to room service staff was great. The pleasant nature is contagious and it made us feel great. The location is perfect, out of the way (enough to be quiet), but close enough (5 minutes/€10 taxi) to the town. Often there are places we stay and we find something that wasn’t quite right. That simply was not the case here. Couldn’t recommend strongly enough. A must stay.

This hotel was PERFECT. The aesthetic of the old monetary with modern decor was absolutely stunning. The rooms are clean and spacious (we had a room with a private rooftop and hot tub). The service was excellent, and the included breakfast was a great way to start our day in the courtyard. It was also conveniently located two minutes from the harbor, and in the center of restaurants and bars (this street was very quiet though). I would stay here again NO DOUBT. Just a note for some travelers, the taxi cannot pull up right in front of the hotel, since most streets in the old town are closed to traffic. However, it is just a one minute walk to a main road where you can access a taxi.

We never usually like to book big hotels when visiting Greece as we usually spend very little time in them. This one caught my eye and I’m glad it did. Communication from the UK to Minoa before we left was exceptional. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room. A lovely bottle of red wine was given to us as a gift which was a nice touch. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The pools were great. Always sun loungers available which is a big plus. We are at the pool bar and the Italian restaurant which are both top quality at good prices. They did fitness classes in the pool three times out of the 7 we were there. They also had a lovely Jazz band on one evening which sipping cocktails at the piano bar. We never got time to use the gym or the spa sadly but we had a sneak peak and it looked great. The beach bar was a lovely touch and the sunset from there was so special. One last thing… we had a leaving gift of tea bags and olives in a lovely Minoa gift bag.
